Review: I took my car for inspection & told the manager that the rubber seal around the headlights was rotten & breaking off. The 2 headlights were yellow with age & would not pass inspection. I had once had the headlights and seal replaced before & I was charged one price. When this firm replaced the 2 headlight plastic covers, they did not replace a rubber seal as I asked them to do. When I got my bill I asked why the rubber seals were not replaced. [redacted] asked me if not having the seals bothered me ! I told him "YES" because rain & splashed water would enter into the engine. I could put my fingers into the openings. I insisted the seals came with the replacements of the headlights. I had to make another trip for them to replace the seals which should have been done on my first trip at one price of $72.00 for EACH headlight.Desired Settlement: I was charged $42.90 for these 2 seals which is part of the replacement of the clouded plastic lenses and to keep rain & splashed water from going into the engine. I feel I am due to have $42.90 returned to me. Please see attached bills. [redacted] said he would not charge any for labor and I thanked him. However, the cost of 2 seals were $37.72 and he charged me - $42.90.

Ms [redacted] was contacted 10/20/13, concerning the charge for the headlight assemblies and the second charge for the seals. This issue was also reviewed by the Service Manager [redacted]. Because the initial customer concern was not addressed after the first visit and the extra charge for the seals was not presented to the customer on the first visit, it has been decided to reimburse the customer the $42.90 for the seals. The customer has been notified and a check # [redacted] has been sent to the customer on 10/22/13. The customer was satisfied with this resolution.
