Review: To Whom It May Concern: My name is [redacted] and my wife and I hired [redacted] as our photographer for our August 1, 2014 wedding. We are very disappointed with [redacted]’s lack of service. I paid her $600.00 before the wedding and an additional $300.00 at the conclusion of the wedding reception. After receiving our $600.00 [redacted] promised us that she would visit the courthouse where the ceremony was taken place, and [redacted]’s On the [redacted] (the reception hall). She mentioned in a 7-20-2014 email she would visit the venues. It did not appear that she did as we had several areas where we wanted to be photographed outside the reception hall and she had no clue. I emailed on her 7-25-2014 if she visited the venues. She claimed she would visit them on that Monday, which most likely didn’t happen. After that I got concerned as she never responded to my phone calls with the exception of November 12, 2014. On November 11, 2014 she wrote an email stating that I was allowed to call her only on Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm. Yet, before we had the wedding she was ok with speaking on Saturday and Sunday mornings or anytime. I suppose she cared more about getting her upfront money before the wedding and then she could provide us with her “restricted hours.” On August 15, 2014 I asked her for an update on our pictures. She said they would be done in a few days. We had an appointment for her to show us the photos in our apartment on September 7, 2014. She claimed her car died and told us the day before the appointment and that she could not make it. She told me she would put the pictures in a gallery and reschedule. She never wanted to reschedule. I suggested in an email on September 7, 2014 to put all the pictures on a CD. That same day she wrote me that she will post the pictures up that day (September 7, 2014). That same day she wrote that she would get these pictures up in a few hours. That did not happen. On September 9, 2014 I emailed her for another update and she told me she needed more time. I waited until September 16, 2014 and asked for another update. She wrote back that day and claimed she had the details and ceremony up, which she didn’t. Also, she was working on the formal section. She was doing special edits and that Friday a link would be available. On September 21, 2014 I emailed her and asked her to burn all the pictures to a CD and mail it ASAP. On September 23, 2014 she posted a few pictures on [redacted] that were apparently deleted rather quickly. That same day I emailed her again asking for an update. On September 24, 2014 she claimed she was at a funeral. On September 30, 2014 in an email I suggested once again to just burn all the pictures onto a CD and mail it to us. On 10-1-2014 she posted the gallery and agreed that we could pick 75 pictures instead of 50. Once again on October 1, 2014 I suggested that she just burn a CD with all the pictures. On 10-2-2014 I told her that she never posted a picture of me, my twin brother and 2 friends. She wrote me back and told me she would look for that picture. On October 3, 2014 I asked her if she could find any pictures of me twirling my wife in our first dance, and she still did not find the picture of me, my twin brother, and 2 friends. On October 15, 2014 I asked her again for those pictures and she was still looking for them. On October 22, 2014 I asked her again through an email. On October 23, 2014 she finally posted a few pictures that I requested. On November 2, 2014 [redacted] picked out the 75 and I asked her to mail me them all. On November 6, 2014 I emailed her asking for an update. On that same day she told me she would get it to us when she edits the 75 pictures that we requested. On November 7, 2014 I mentioned in an email that we are hosting Thanksgiving and we would love to have pictures, so we can frame them. In addition, she took down the gallery, so we have no pictures to look at. That same day she mentioned that it costs her money to keep the gallery up, so she had to take them down. On November 11, 2014 I finally spoke with her on the telephone. I voiced my frustration that it has taken over 3 months to see our pictures and no gallery to view. If I were to show you all of [redacted]’s post on [redacted] there is no wonder that she doesn’t spend much time on our pictures. I never mentioned her constant [redacted] posts to her. She told me it takes time and hung up on me. Most people that I spoke with that got married had their pictures within a month and she had no passion to do the job. On November 12, 2014 she really didn’t want to do the job. She mentioned in an email me she would send 50 unedited images to a flash drive that day. At our wedding she claimed she stayed 5 hours, which was a lie. She started at 2pm and I told her she could leave at 6pm, but she insisted on staying until the party concluded, which I never authorized. She already had my $600.00 payment before the wedding. I gave her $300.00 after the wedding for her troubles, but she insist I gave her $150.00. In that same email she claimed I wanted the gallery, which is not true. In my emails I wanted her to burn all the pictures to a CD being that she really had no desire to do the work. She claimed I made her cry and that she wanted to do the job. On November 12, 2014 I responded back to apologize if I did make her cry. I mentioned that sending out 50 pictures was not fair, as she agreed to give us 75 pictures. On November 19, 2014 she sent a ridiculous invoice by charging 5.5 hours at $1100.00 plus a $100.00 travel fee, and 607 pictures times.05 cents equaling $30.25. That invoice would total $1230.35 in addition to $900.00 that I already paid her. On November 19, 2014 I responded telling her I refuse to pay that total as I already paid her $900.00. I told her since it would make her us feel better if she did the work by editing the 75 pictures that my wife liked and send it ASAP. I told her I didn’t want this getting uglier that she could do the editing and we would get our pictures. Therefore everyone would be happy. There was no response from her. On November 26, 2014 we received our flash drive with 49 unedited pictures, which should have been 75 edited pictures. I emailed her that day expressing my disappointment of the pictures not being edited, and she only sent 49. I wrote to her to do the right thing. On November 26, 2014 she claimed our contract was for 50 images, and I gave her $150.00, which I gave her $300.00. She wrote me that I took advantage of her, which is outrageous. She appeared to pick out 45 pictures that were to her choosing (no cake cutting pictures among others missing). She told me since she sent 49 that she would upload the 1 picture, which never was done. She never did that. On November 26, 2014 I emailed her back saying that I never took advantage of her. I explained I wanted to reconcile this, but she had to pull a vindictive move. I mentioned I wanted the additional 26 pictures sent that was not included. If not, I would contact the Revdex.com. On November 28, 2014 she emailed me that going to court is the best course of action. On November 30, 2014 I emailed her trying to reason with her again. I told her If I really gave you only $150.00 at the end of the wedding (which was $300.00) If I gave her $50.00 more would you give us the 26 additional pictures that was owed to us. Of course she did not respond. At 5:30 during the wedding I told her that she could go, but she insisted on staying. She made no complaints about the $300.00 that I paid her and lied about me only paying $150.00. She left our wedding at 6:15pm, so I paid her more than her $200.00 per hour rate. [redacted] and I consulted a local photographer,[redacted]. He confirmed that the 49 pictures that she sent us were not edited. He thought that he could call her and reason with her to get the pictures, so he could edit them for us. Of course she hung up on him. He gave us some suggestions how to handle her. We have contacted [redacted]’s Public Relations person [redacted] at ###-###-#### initially on December 26, 2014 in the morning. She told me she would have an answer for me by the end of the day or by December 29, 2014. I called her on December 30, 2014. She told me she was sick and would call me back in the afternoon. She never called back that day. I left her a message on January 2, 2015 and she has not responded back to me. I am so disappointed in how [redacted] took advantage of our special wedding day and could act so unprofessional, and vindictive. Once she received my initial $600.00 dollars she did not care about doing the job. She would rather be on[redacted] all day every day. I do have evidence of her posts on [redacted] from August 1-the start of November. Speaking with[redacted] and most people that had wedding pictures appear to get their pictures within a month. I can’t believe [redacted]’s Public Relations person is not helping out either. [redacted] wanted to play games about constantly promising she would come to our home, mentioning that she was almost done doing the pictures. In addition, to promising 75 pictures and not delivering. She never wanted to talk on the telephone as I left messages. All we want was our pictures that were taken on our special day. She does not know how to be customer service friendly based on other reviews here. I can’t believe [redacted] cared so little and wanted to ruin our special day.Desired Settlement: All I want is at least 75 pictures that was promised to us. She sent us 49 unedited pictuers. She did not do the job. We have been waiting since our wedding date of 8-1-2015 We would settle for all 600 pictures that was shot from her camera and just end this. She needs to have some morals.

[redacted] wedding…

Yes [redacted] and his wife [redacted] hired me to be their photographer for the wedding for 3 hours coverage for a justice of the peace wedding not my full wedding packages that are $1550 to $4500!

I was hired to cover a small justice of the peace wedding for 3 hours coverage.. However They had a full wedding instead. I had to work the wedding alone with two cameras. I worked additional hours there were not apart of the contract

At the end of the wedding ** gave me three 50’s in an envelop totaling $150 not $300 as he as now exaggerated.

*Yes I said I would visit the venues however it was a 2 hour drive one way and I could not do that with the summer so busy in the studio. As a business owner to take a 4 hour drive for such a small order I could not do.. However I arrived 2 hours before the contacted time and checked out the venue and the chapel/justice of the peace. I did call ** and let him know I was already in town and checked everything out.. However now that was not good enough.

My studio to the venue is [redacted], ** to

[redacted], NY[redacted]

= 2 hour and 6 minutes/ 87.5 miles one way..

* I was not confused at all with the venue layout.. Im shocked that** is making this statement now. The only time I was confused was when I was taking close ups due to the wife's disfigured mouth I could not tell when she was smiling. She asked a lot of questions and I answered all of them.

I answered almost all of **’s phone calls however he felt that even when I was with clients or my family I should answer his.

Yes I did try to remind ** many times that I do run a full service business and had regular hours like everyone one else.. Again he felt I should not.

I only spoke to them on one Sunday due to them telling me that was the only time they could talk to me before the wedding. I obliged. Again stating I would call them from home since I do not go into my studio on Sundays. They were ok at that time with me talking to them from home.

Yes we have an appointment on Sept 7th since they had refused to drive to me.

I have clients that spend thousands with me and come to my studio and use my viewing room to see their pictures.. I have a showcase with samples of prints, albums, canvases etc. That is the normal process after a wedding however ** and [redacted] felt they were above being normal!

*To this day I stil haven’t gotten my car fixed. I am ok with that and so are all my 196 clients that I services in 2014. I am not sure why it is such a big deal to this couple! I take the bus to work or my boyfriend brings me.

*I offered for the couple to come to me since they had a working car and of course that was a no go..

*During the month of September I updated them with every email they sent me as to where we were with there images. I would not post them until they were all done since I have to pay per image per day to have them active on the website.

*On Sept 23 I posted a sneak peak like I normally do with all my clients until they come in for a viewing this again is normal practice however ** and [redacted] are looking for everything to be an issue to get me to work for them for free.

*Yes** did ask for all the images on a CD an I advised he did not pay for that however he felt they were entitled to this since they waited a month to see the sneak peak. I don't know what photographer or any company that would give a $1000 product away for free because of clients looking to take advantage.

*Sept 27 I was at a funeral yes a dear friend had died and** wanted to talk during the procession.. (horrifying the family)

*Yes during the month of October ** asked for additional pictures posted and wanting all the images again demanding more free items. I cannot work for free. Again this was the cheapest wedding I have done in 3 years and the most uncouth clients I have had that wanted so much for free. I was totally shocked at how greedy they became!

*After a client picks out their images I color-correct each one to make them perfect. This editing by hand takes time however my editing was not respected by the couple and now that started to yell and tell me my work wasn't good anyway so I should give them all the pictures.. They only paid for 50 images. Im baffled as to why they would want to do this. All the threats they came to me with verbally I could not take anymore and wanted to call the police. I called my attorney at this time and was advised that I should only communicate with them in writing due to the tone and belittling statements. At this point in my 16 year career I have never been threatened before!

*I have clients that want an album after or I do composite of their favorite images,, design layout etc takes time and I have never had a client complain.. Its ART and its going to stay on your walls or be a memory forever.. Why not have it perfect. This couple was more concerned about what they could get from me for free!

*My [redacted] post are generated by my cousin/my assistant to promote my 3 business or by a software by[redacted]. This company posted for me on [redacted] and [redacted] weeks or months in advanced. Im appalled that** is bringing[redacted] into this since I never wanted to be his friend on[redacted]. He hit on me on a dating website years ago and due to him being unattractive and old I did not want him however wasn’t rude and always turned him down nicely. He eventually friend requested me and again not wanting to be rude I accepted him. Over the years I know he would check in on me and tell me how he works so hard. I always was polite back and turn down any offer to meet him. I NEVER reached out to him he always initiated any type of communication. I was surprised that he reached out to me and was very happy that he found someone just like I am with all my clients. And if my[redacted] post bother you why would you remain my friend on that social network site. The delete button works very easily.

I sent** an invoice so he could see in writing how much he was taking advantage of me and my business. Even if he truly gave my $300 it still would not cover the whole process and definitely did not warrant me giving away all my work.

I explain to** each image has a thing called metadata that cannot be alter with the time to show how many hours I had worked for him and that he did not pay me for the full day. Thus I could not give him more that the 50 images he contracted for.

Him threatening to ruin me is not going to make me budge and give him all the images a $999 value that other clients have paid in the past however he feels he can do this.

I advised him since he wanted all this free stuff why didn't he just hire a friend to do it and not hire someone that is 2 hours away to work with.. He advised he thought we were friends and I would work for free. Again another shocker. I advised no I do not work for free. For family and friends I do give a discount however a stranger that hit on me years ago does not count as a friend. Any I do not work for free for anyone!

After dealing with the threats I did video myself putting the 50 images on a Flash drive to ** and [redacted] also because I had a feeling they were going to make something else up.. Now they state they are 1 photo short. Really??? Why would I short you 1 photo.

You insisted I do not finish the editing and wanted them unedited since I was talking too long. Please revisit your previous emails and phone calls.** insisted 3 times he would do the editing himself, I shouldn’t crop or touch their photos.. I did not plan on cropping anything just a few color edits and a few composites due to some photos being Canvas quality however they had a few things that needed to come out.

My public Relations person does not work for free.. Neither does my attorney. I paid a $250 consult just to go over this case. I made it clear I would not work for free and give you the images for free because you have threaten me.

I made it clear my studio is open Tuesday thru Friday and some Saturdays for viewing. ** and [redacted] are still welcome to come in and look at the images. And purchase any additional images they

I do apologize, but I was not able to respond in time to Complaint ID [redacted] did not do what was said in her contract of being our wedding photographer.

Review: I purchased a buodoir photo shoot deal from [redacted] for Kerri vision photography. My photo shoot was on February 2. I paid an extra 100 dollars for an additional hour of studio time. I arrived at the studio and the photographer was not ready for me, she was taking pictures of someone else. I was told at the end of the shoot that my photos would take 4-6 weeks to arrive. The photos arrived end of March (8weeks). The five pictures I selected, were not the photos that arrived at my house. I called Kerri Vision and she apologized that she must have processed the untouched up photos and told me to send the pictures back to her and she would send me the correct ones. After two months, I called her to inquire about my photos and she said that she had to wait for a large batch of pictures to send out my 5 for processing, and she was really busy with other clients. Two weeks later I recieved the photos in the mail. Out of the 5, 2 were still incorrect. One of the two had the same processing error as the first batch. I called Kerrri vision and left a message, and asked her to call me back. She didn't call me back, after a week I sent her a detailed email with the issue. I received no reply. I sent her a new email message which she responded to and said she didn't receive the first or my phone call. I forwarded the origianl to her and explained that the photos I recieved in the mail were not acceptable. One had a horrible yellowish back shadow and the other had a film processing blotch on the right forearm. Her response was I could meet with her and choose different photos. The times she told me she was available were 10-4 during the work week. Not including Monday. I replied asking if there was a night during the week that she could meet after 4, since I work 10-4pm. I received no reply.

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

My next email asked for a refund of my inital 100 dollar studio fee, and I would return the photos to her. The cost for this experience was $100 for the group on deal, $100 for an additional hour studio, $80 for makeup and hair, $43 photo processing and shipping, the first set of returned photos $8. Even though my expenses totaled 313.00 I asked Kerri vision for a refund of the 100 initial groupon deal.

This client used a coupon from Living social. I was paid $19 I cannot give her $100 back for a $19 sale. I have offered to let this client come and look through all her images to choose another set that she likes since the original 20 I chose was not to her liking after the sale was an all sales are final. Even with the insult about my work I have still tried to work with this client and still will. I cannot give $100 to anyone for a $19 sale. She is welcomed to come in and choose another 2 images I will save her file until December 31, 2013.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/08/19) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

Kerri vision sent me images that were of poor quality and had processing flaws. Her idea of me choosing new pictures was limited to 10-4 wed to Fri. All days in which I work. I asked her for a time later in the day with no response. Her claim that she was only paid 19 for the 100 dollar deal I purchased is not my problem. She made the deal with living social. I also paid an extra 100 directly to her. Kerri vision has not compliant with the original deal. I purchased the deal plus an extra 100 for one additional hour in studio time. For my money I was suppose to receive five pictures. Out of the give I received two had flaws. She is unwilling to spend anymore time. I have email exchanges with her basically saying she uninterested in completing her end. I've spent five months trying to work with her.
