I purchased The Forgotten Books of Eden to deepen my understanding of the Bible through study and research. However, I was disappointed to find unrelated content—a comic story about Stephen King and an advertisement for the Matthew Shepard Foundation—at the beginning of the book. While I approach biblical study with discernment and an open mind, I also take it seriously, and this inclusion felt like a mockery of faith. Given that this publisher specializes in rare and out-of-print books, I expected a faithful reproduction of the original text, free from irrelevant additions. I regret my purchase, as it did not align with my expectations.
