Kevens Landscape recently installed a drip irrigation system at my homeThey did a job that exceeded my expectations,

+On June 16, I paid the first half of landscape work to Keven's Landscape Co This was to include installing a new irrigation system with the removal of the old drip system, installing several plants and bushes in the front and back yard, as well as new gravel to cover the old Three days later I paid the final payment, even tho the rose bush I had requested had not arrived During this time, we noticed that there was insufficient rock which made the yard look very discolored I agreed at that time for some more gravel to be delivered for another $ As the time went on my sales person, himself, spread the gravel .I also needed some information on how to set up the drip timer, etc, with a book or something Nothing In November I contacted Keven and he assured me that he would have someone out there with the rest of the order and the removal of the old drip system Not all of the old had been left, but some were still sticking out of the ground Also a few pla

This company seems to be one that has extremely poor communication with it's customersNearly a year ago, I agreed to Keven's estimate for a landscape makeoverRepresentative said it would be 2-weeks before work could be startedSix weeks later and after numerous excuses from Keven's representative, I was still trying to get the job started and finally called to cancelSurprisingly, work was completed within days after my callRecently, I requested some tree trimming from Keven'sI called to get an estimate but was told no one was there at the time but I could leave a number and a representative (Jason) would call backNever heard from him so I got his cell number from the office and called himHe committed to a day for work to be done but no one showed upI've learned my lesson! I'll never attempt to use this company again and in no way would I recommend them to anyone else looking for reliable landscape work

Stay away from this business!!! After paying for wall work to be down to our back yard this business put off doing our job for almost weeksMy husband works for a company who delivers a lot of this business materials needed for the job and Kevens took advantage of this work relationshipOnce the job was finally started they workers moved quicklyBut again issues came up! We paid for pillars on the side wall which were not originally put upThe person came back the next day to fix that mistake but used the same top caps already having cement on them thus clumps of cement on the top of the pillar caps! Kevens hired a private painter to paint the back wall, but the painter only painted the outside of the wall???? He did come back days later and paint the inside but again took another call to KevensIn the process of putting up the side wall measuring was done wrong and now we have lost inches of our property!!! Though Keven refuses to believe he has done any thing wrong He and his designer Mike are horrible at returning calls or texts After asking Keven to wait until the final wall inspection was done to receive his final payment Keven became very negative and nasty to the point of putting a lien on the houseNever once was he refused payment, he was just asked to wait for inspections to assure all Work was up to code It’s sad one treats a customer like this and yes, we were customers not a person working with a business!!! Kevens Landscapes has totally been paid off but I will tell everyone to stay away from them!!! Bad bad experience Would give this business-stars! Just sorry my husband will in his job have to deliver materials to this business job sites and deal with a bad company

Revdex.com,I’m responding to complaint number (ID#) ***we entered in to an agreement with Mrs*** for assorted landscape additions and improvementsWe finished the agreed work and it was noted between our designer (Steve) and Mrs *** that there was additional gravel desiredThe amount
specifically indicated on the contract was added with out dispute, however it was insufficient for the desired coverageWe were paid in full per our contract of of $It is my understanding that Mrs *** entered in to an agreement with Steve directly to add an additional tons of gravelWe did not have anything to do with that additional portion of her projectI believe if you have copies of her checks my recollection of events will be verifiedShe didn’t pay us for the additional gravel hence It can not be refunded by Keven's. I would be more than happy to revisit the plants that have died and get those replacedI keep copious noted regarding outstanding service items and employ a team who follows up on any outstanding itemsIt is unusual for something like this to be missed so blatantlyWe will prioritize the missing / dead plants and get those taken care of immediately. Mrs *** would you please let me know what plants you desire for replacementI’ll have Dave take care of it right awayI’m sorry this didn't get resolved by more traditional meansI honestly do not have any follow up notesI must have really made a mistake and not written it down, of perhaps we were waiting for warmer weatherHowever I normally would have lots of notes and follow up on my computerPlease accept my apology and let me know what plants we still owe youNow is a great time to get them replaced. This is in response to the letter from Kevens Landscape Company to the Revdex.comIn regards to the additional rock problem. Steve contacted me several times to see if the additional rock had been delivered. He said he had spoken to Keven and that the yard needed more because there had not been enough to cover completely and there was a lot of discoloration. This was just on the front yard and side. The back had been completely redone and looked wonderful. When Steve spoke to Keven it was agreed that additional tons were needed, not as Keven has stated in his letter to the Revdex.com. When nothing was done with this after many weeks, Steve contacted me and said he would have it delivered and would spread it himself. The contract was written up and FIVE TONS were delivered, not the TEN TONS, that Keven seems to think.As I had stated in my original complaint, which was not addressed by Keven, was the fact that some of my old drip system had not been removed and was still in place, also no information on how to work the timer regarding the days and length of time for watering.Also as I stated in my original complaint to Revdex.com, sometime in December I happened to be home and someone came to replace one of my plants, but knew nothing of the rose bush, which had never been planted, and still has not been planted. Also he knew nothing about the removal of some of the old drip lines

Six weeks later and after numerous excuses from Keven's representative, I was still trying to get the job started and finally called to cancel. Surprisingly, work was completed within 3 days after my call. Recently, I requested some tree trimming from Keven's. I called to get an estimate but was told no one was there at the time but I could leave a number and a representative (Jason) would call back. Never heard from him so I got his cell number from the office and called him. He committed to a day for work to be done but no one showed up. I've learned my lesson! I'll never attempt to use this company again and in no way would I recommend them to anyone else looking for reliable landscape work.
