In November of 2008, I purchased a package of 3 Fraxel Laser Facial Treatments from DermaCare Mission Valley (then owned by [redacted]) for $2100. After two appointment cancellations on DermaCare's part (one for the laser being broken), I had one treatment. My skin did not react well to this treatment, it was painful and remained red and swollen longer than was discussed. My skin texture still has a few small scars in several sections from the laser. I decided it would not be good to undergo the two remaining treatments. I called DermaCare several times to explain this situation and request a refund of the remaining $1400. I wrote them several letters. I have received only one phone call back with no information. At one point, the number I had for DermaCare had been disconnected! With some internet research, I found that DermaCare Mission Valley (owned by [redacted]) had moved to LaJolla and switched their name to AdvancedLipo (which has now abruptly closed - with no forwarding information!). I would like a refund of my money - but this business seems to sell packages, then close and change locations. Please help! Thank you.
