Review: Kevin Sullivan is the most manipulative, aggressive, unprofessional, paranoid, confrontational and conceited person I have ever met. He has no problem intimidating people to get his way. That's what he knows best. Beware of people who try hard to convince you of how great they are. Not a good role model for children. This has been a constant message from many parents who have left that studio. It's unfortunate that there is not a governing body for martial arts to keep a certain standard for instructing children. If you question anything he does, his response is anger and intimidation. My experience was negative to say the least. He should not work with children. He will criticize your parenting skills if it affects his pocket. He is only out for the money. He has a hard time keeping business which is why his advertising is blasted all over the internet, along with Groupons and Living Social deals. After speaking with many disappointing parents and kids, it was no wonder why he markets so much. He cant hold onto students. For someone to constantly advertize was a huge sign for me too. With all this business you'd think he'd have a large school and staff/instructors. Nope, he has a tiny studio which only HE runs. He has NO staff or instructors to help. On top of that his karate classes are a joke. he combines all levels and ages into one class. He has a range from 3year olds all the way to like 15 years of age. Belt levels are from white to brown, purple, etc. To me, id want my kids in a beginner class. And it must be frustrating for the older kids to be in the same class as 3 year olds. His classes are the same routine everytime. nothing new or different. His teachings are unorthodox and makes no sense. Not sure why he doesnt have more classes to separate it all. His background should be looked into. Beware of people who try too hard to convince you how great they are. Search elsewhere and protect your children from this man...!
