Unfortunately, I was not given the receipts back from the repairs made by Kevin's shop and Ray's fuel line repair so I couldn't be more specific However, with Kevin's attachment I can now do so:I understand the brake pads and rotors are not related to the stalling of the vehicle but the mass air flow sensor, gasket set and coolant were replaced in an attempt to solve the problem as told by Kevin The remaining total, including tax, is $which I feel should be credited as the car is no longer in operation and had to be donated I believe customer satisfaction is the key to a reputable business and paying thousands of dollars for unsuccessful repairs is not to my satisfaction!

Attached are the estimates and the receipts for the work done in California by ***All of these papers were supplied to Kevin repeatedlyIt never occurred to me to ship defective brakes across the countryI expected a refund along with an apologyI certainly didn't expect this type of treatmentPlease review the attached documents and let me know if I should take further action (small claims court).Thank you for your consideration in this matter

As previously stated Mr Kevin at Kevin's auto repair the replacement of lower ball joints on
my Mercury Sable LS Premium was okay so farSo far no more clunks when I go over
bumps
However, the tuneup portion of work was unsatisfactoryWhen I dropped the car off, Mr
Kevin had one of his employees take me back home in his service vehicle, which had faulty
brakesThe brakes vibrated and the rubbing noise came back through the dashboardThis vehicle
would not have passed a vehicle safety checkWhile at home for hours and minutes Mr
Kevin called me and said he found coil packs that needed replaced and I okayed itBut no
price was discussedAt this time I told Mr Kevin that his service vehicle needed new brakes
badAlso no check engine light was ever mentioned or okayed by meI have already replace
one coil pack on this auto and it cost $
Later that afternoon Mr Kevin called to tell me my car was ready for piand his employee
was on the way to pick me upAt this time, though he was driving Mr Kevin's personal automobile
I arrived at repair shop and asked Mr Kevin if everything was okay with my car and he said everything
is goodI paid with Visa credit Card but I noticied that the bill was very high I expected
around $at most, but the bill was $Arriving at my car in the parking lot I
noticed on my tires and fenders mudI assumed they road tested my car and got it muddyI was
very disappointed and started my car and proceeded homeAlso, there were no used parts offered
to me from Mr Kevin
On my way home I noticed the first time I stopped at traffic light my engine was still missing
just like beforeI was shocked and in disbeliefI was so upset I couldn't even think straightAfter
all of this mental anxiety, I still have a miss in the engineI waited a few weeks thinking my
engine might stop missing, but with no such luckI called back to the shop 6-16-and told Mr
Kevin that engine is still missing and this was his responseI can't predict when a light bulb is
going to burn out and for me to take my car to *** and *** and let them run me through
the wringer, in a very nasty tone of voiceI did not pay him to predict when a light bulb would
burn out and I did not take my car to *** or ***, so I did not understand what he meant
He had my car for hoursNothing was said about bringing my car back and check it out at
no chargeI feel like I paid $400,for a minor tuthat was unsatifactory and my engine is
still missingSo this is when I called Revdex.com for a complaint form
P.SThis is not my first rodeoI have been driving for over years
Thanks for your thoughtful consideration,

After receiving letter from Mr*** we responded that the parts in question needed to be returned to have our parts supplier inspect them and we needed an invoice that shows the amount paid for the replacement brakes. The invoice attached is all he has provided that shows $The invoice
also shows that they would be replacing them with ceramic pads which is the same quality of pads we placed on the vehicle. Over miles had been driven from the time we replaced the brakes until the car was taken in for inspection at ***While driving the car from Ohio to California, the brakes could have been over heated causing the brakes to squeak. We also called the *** in California to see if they could provide us a copy of the invoice, none was sentHowever the service writer *** at *** remembered the car and stated it was back times for squeaking brakes after they made repairs. Our invoice states that a warranty on parts & labor for year or 12,miles is to be done in our shop. We can not offer Mr*** a refund with out parts or proof of defective parts

We still stick to our original responseWe offered to take a second look at the
vehicle, the customer declined stating he felt we would charge him for parts he
doesn't needIf the part is faulty we would replace it at no charge

To whom it may concern We feel the repairs made to this vehicle were preformed properly ,this vehicle was driven and ran for hours with out any problems .We do not feel that any refund is in order

Last year we had Kevin install all new brakes into the car our daughter was taking to California Within months she had to have the brakes replaced by *** out in California at a cost of $ The car is still in California I sent all the receipts along with a letter requesting that Kevin reimburse us for the new brakes He declined New brakes should last longer than months

On 7/we received a complaint from a customer claiming we overcharged him by $and his engine is still missing, one of the problems he had when he brought his vehicle to usThis complaint is for a repair that our shop performed on 6/11. Our position on all repairs is as follows:
We will find all problems and call the costumer prior to starting any repair work, and if the check engine light is on or the car is running rough after the customer picks up, we will look at the vehicle free of charge at the customer's leisure. In the complaint, the customer explains he "Ok'd the ball join replacement and also engine has miss so correct this." The phone call he is referring to was one where our shop explained to him the costs, parts, labor time, and procedure for the repairs we would perform if he gave us the ok, which he didIf the costumer had a problem with the price, it was not made known at this timeThere were multiple other problems with the vehicle, which he told us not to repairWe followed his instructions and only repaired what was requestedAt time of pickup, which was the same day that the customer dropped off, there was no problem with the price of the repairsThe only complaint the customer had was that he had to pay tax on labor, which we explained is the law in Ohio. The customer's phone call to us a few weeks later was only to say we had overcharged him and that it was still missing/ the check engine light was onWe offered to take another look at it to see if any other coils had gone bad, the cause of most engines 'missing', and to this he refusedThe check engine light could be a result of any of the other things we recommended be fixed on his vehicle that he declined repair on. In the end, we gave the costumer free rides to his home and back to the shop, we performed the work the day we received the car, and we offered to look at the car again free of charge to find if any other coils had gone badWe performed the work for nearly $less than the shop before us had quoted him at, we did everything to clear all trouble codes the car was giving us at the shop, and it left us with all problems fixedWe don't believe there is anything more we can do

My position in the matter has not changed one bitI feel if it was charged for diagnostic and okayed the
result of the diagnostic then the work to correct the miss on my engine should be goneHowever, I still
have a miss in my engineThe work did not correct the problemCheck engine light was not okayed by
me

To Whom It May Concern, The car had been repaired by ** Automotive before it had switched hands to Kevin's Car Repair LLCWhen Mr*** brought it back after they repaired the fuel line the complaint was the vehicle died out while it was being driven as stated by MrSundryWe found
a couple possibilities of what it could be, which was then authorized by MrSundryMr*** then called after Mr*** had picked up the car and said that it was still doing itI asked Mr*** to bring it back in and we will take another look at itWe replaced the crankshaft sensor and ignition module that were cracked and full of oil and antifreeze from the leaking intake manifold gasketWe let the vehicle run and drove it for multiple days without ever having an issue with it using $worth of gas in this process of which was done at no chargeMr*** then picked it up again and says the car stalled out the next dayWe offered to bring it back in again to get this situation resolved as I explained there may be other electrical issues due to the oil, gas and coolant leaks, which Mr*** agreed to contact us to schedule an appointment and never didOur invoice shows that after tax the total amount due was $not $Please See attachment$of which was for brake pads and rotors and $of which was sales tax, which has nothing to do with a running problem.
