Kevin's Piano Moving Reviews (3)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meThe business had a flooring company contact me about fixing the floor at the business' expenseI am happy that they were reasonable with coming to this conclusion Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I do not know what floor company in which he had contactedI work with dozens of different flooring companies moving grand and upright pianos for them when they are refinishing or installing hardwood where we will have to remove piano from room and return when the job is doneThere still is supposed to be a sub floor under where the "wiring" is routed We have been moving pianos for over years and our reputation speaks for its self I do not want to have any negativity or a dis satisfied customer believe me! Since it was a relative who set this move up I do not have this mans number in my recordsHave him send his contact info and I will have someone give him a call and schedule someone to go over there and take care of itI still believe firmly that the floor was the issue here! ***

We were hired by a gentleman named [redacted] to move a piano from a garage in [redacted] Park to a residential home in [redacted] The piano was a full uprightWhen we arrived we introduced ourselves to a woman who was at the home to accept the piano deliveryWe were instructed as to where they had planned to place the instrument and began to move the piano from our truck into their residenceWhile moving it in one of the wheels of our dolly fell through a soft spot in the hardwood floorThere was no sub flooring under the hardwood which is why the wheel went throughIf you ask any flooring guy there is supposed to be sub flooring under hardwood for support We move roughly pianos on a weekly basis and 75% of those require moving across hardwoodIn years of professional piano moving I have only seen this twiceWe were not warned about an inferior or sub standard sub floor and there is now way to tell from looking itThere was a hollow place under the wooden slats of the floorIt could have been a lot worseI am just glad that the instrument did not get damaged and that nobody got injuredI do not believe we should be held liable for an improper floor installation Respectfully ***
