Kevin's Nails Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Kevin did tel me to have he come into salon the day of my 1st call and I told him due to my daughter's work schedule it would be impossible.   I told him the weekend was better for her schedule.  Kevin said that was to far out.  That would make a full week from when full set of acrylic tips were applied and he would have to care to re do them but at a charge of $20.00.  Kevin never offer me a discount towards a complete new set or a credit towards or credit towards what was done 8 he did I would have contacted Revdex.com for the services and unprofessional approach when I called.  I told him and it was clear when I hung up the phone seeing have gave him and his business over 10 years of business.  I was one of his original customers and to be treated and dismissed the way I was I was bother by it.  Kevin is being untruthful about what her offered to me.  And he didn't do anything to make happy at the end.  It was clear when I hung up the phone with him I was taking business elsewhere and placing a complaint and he was fine.

On the morning of October **, 2015, I received a call from the client’s mother. She was upset because a few of her daughter’s acrylic tip...

had come off after a couple of days. She asked what should be done. I told her to bring her daughter to the salon shop that afternoon or the next afternoon so that we can fix it. We had agree that she will bring her daughter the afternoon of the [redacted] or [redacted]. She never showed up and made no attempt to contact me to let me know that she could not make it. On October **, 2015, the client called me and asked if she could come in and get her nails done for free. I asked her if she still had any acrylic tip left on her nails. She told me that she took it off. I told her that due to the delay, I would have to charge her half price. I explained to her that if she had had any problem making the previous appointment we could have reschedule it if some communication was done. I believe that with any business, timeliness is important. I do not really know what action is right to take in this matter. I have a business to maintain and I want to keep my client happy.

Review: A full set of acrylic tips we placed on Saturday Morning of October **, 2015 by Monday October **,2016 all but four popped off. Two on the left had and two on the right hand. The service cost $25.00 which was paid on a debit card. I called and spoke with the owner mid morning Tuesday, because he was close when I attempted my call on Monday. I Explained to the owner Kevin how upset I was with how quickly nails popped off. He immediately took zero responsibility and said maybe my daughter took them off. I said to him why would one do such a thing when money was spent on a service and was satisfied with the result. Doesn't bake a bit of since. I explained to him my daughter is a responsible young adult that is into getting her nails done and this was the shortest amount of time in between filling that she's left with less then half of set. He offered to take a look, but stated he would have to charge again go service. I thought that was very selfish and unprofessional to not accommodate her with a better solution. I've wore artificial nails for year ans I never had such a problem. I even even express that I was a long time customer of his prior to me discontinuing to where artificial nails for personal reasons and never have that problem. I was one of his first customers when he opened his business in town. I asked if it was a possibility that the acrylic powder was old, or the solution expired for them not to adhere to provide her with a longer hold. I don't know I just feel the customer service definitely wasn't displayed and I will no longer do business at his place of business.
