On January 2, 2016, MrL*** entered our Store in order to send a shipment to *** *** *** *** The service the customer selected would have seen his shipment arrive at its destination before
8:am on January 5,
On January at 5:PM, UPS picked up the shipment from our StoreDue to forces completely beyond our control at the Store, the UPS driver who took the package from our Store did not arrive at the appropriate delivery centre in time for this shipment to be delivered expedientlyAs a result, the shipment was delivered on Jan6, at 8:AM
Upon entering into an agreement with our Store to send his shipment, the customer signed a Parcel Shipping OrderClause of the Terms and Conditions states that the Customer agrees that, "we will receive and forward parcels for You." Clause states that: "we (The UPS Store) are not liable for the Carrier's failure to make timely delivery on the delivery time or date specifiedAny statement by Us as to the probable time or date of delivery by the Carrier is a statement of opinion and estimate only, and is not warranted in any manner
We (The UPS Store) contacted UPS in order to process a GSR (Guaranteed Service Refund) because the shipment was lateUPS has processed the GSR and we are in possession of a cheque which the customer can pick up at any timeThis information was relayed to the customer when he called in on March 14, The refund amount is for the amount the customer paid for the shipping ($67.74)Tax and axillary charges (signature on delivery) are not refunded by UPS (the carrier used for this shipment)

When I first complained the late delivery in January, UPS store told me to wait for their response within business daysAfter business days, I called them again and one lady told me that they were still working on thatAfter that, no one contacted me at all until I found my package got returned back from *** due to the late arrival, then I phoned the UPS store again and the manager just found the cheque and told me to pick it up*** Again, I am not talking about refund, I am talking about the irresponsibility the UPS store has and the extremely poor delivery and customer service they are providing to people*** The response UPS store provides literally means that as long as the customer signs the agreement, they can have any excuse, or even without any excuse to provide poor serviceIn the latest response, there is not even a single apology at all***
