Review: My events with Key AutoworksFeburary of 2014 I purchased a car from my mechanic Eddie W[redacted] that works at Key Autoworks. He sold me a 2002 [redacted]. He wanted 38hundred for the van. I had a green 2002 [redacted] that he gave me a one thousand dollar trade for and I gave him 28hundred in cash. The first issues that I had was with the heat it didnt work. My breaks were also squeaky and they needed to be replaced. I paid him to fix my breaks even though they continued to squeak he told me that that was something new brakes did. The next time I went back with an issues was in june when I noticed that not only did my a/c didnt work but that now my car sounded like it was a motorcycle. He then told me that I had a hole in the front gride thats why my a/c wasnt working and that was the sound I heared. He told me to come back in a week because he had to order the part. The following week I showed up for him to fix my car and 5 hours later oh waiting he didnt even fix it he forgot what was wrong with it due to his mind not being right from being up all night from having a family member die. We tryed meeting again to fix the problem and once again the work didnt get done due to some distraction that he had. It is now september and the new problem that I was having was the car would keep over heating and then it would just cut off. It was leaking oil and anti freeze. I could not drive over 20 miles per hour thats how fast the car would go and once you stopped it would cut off. I called and told him the problem, he told me to bring it down. I didnt trust driving it to him on the highway with my 3 kids so I had it towed to him October 11,2014. He then told me that there was so many problems with the van that it wasn't even worth fixing. He then told me to give him until tuesday because he was going to the car auction and would get me a new van. Tuesday came and went and didnt hear from him. I was calling him twice aday. October 22 I was finally able to reach him on the phone and he told me that he had a blue 2002 [redacted] van that it would be ready to pick up october 30th which was also trick or treat night for my children. My grandma brought me out to his office and I saw the van but of course there was a problem, he didnt have the title and he was waiting for the man to come to his shop. I had to get back home to harrisburg for my girls to go trick or treating and eddie told me that he and the man would be able to come to my moms house at 5 since my mom was a notary that we could do everything at her house. 5 o clock came and so did 6 o clock. I took my girls trick or treating down the street from my moms but my grandma stayed at my moms just in case he showed up. I tried calling him while we were trick or treating and he didnt pick up or show up. 3 days later I call him and he picks up to give me this story that he and the man broke down on the highway with a flat and didnt have a spare. He then told me that he had to get that fixed and he needed to fix a dent that was over the wheel. He told me that I should call him monday it should be ready then. I called him and called him for the next week. Instead of calling and talking to me he would talk to my grandma on the phone and told her that there was something wrong with the van and that he could just give me a refund. I went to his office saturday morning November 8th. Eddie than told me that something was wrong with the van and he told me that yes he would have to give me a refund. He then asked me if I liked any vans out front, but then he states that he has been out for a week sick so he knows nothing about the cars outfront that I would have to wait 2 or 3 days for him to look them over and he could give me a call I told him no thank you I just want my money back.He then told me that he didnt have it on him and that he would have to get a check and he told me to come back wednesday which was the 12th. That wednesday morning he calls my phone at 7:30am because he knew I would be at his office at 9am to tell me that he was still out of town with his family but he would be at the office at 5pm. So I had my mother bring me down to his office with my children at night and of course he was no were to be found. I then called and called him and he didnt answer. I then had my mom bring me and my kids back to his office on the 15th which was saturday were we sat in his office for 8 hours. He stated to me that the man that took my car had the money for me. So we sat and waited all day. Finally around 5 o clock eddie comes to me and tells me that first his boss (were I thought it was his company) was now not ok with giving me a refund and that there was nothing that he could do. I had to leave tired, angry, no car and no money. I know that they can not keep both. I need help. I just want my money back. I have a 8 year old that has diabetes who since I haven't had a car has been to the hospital twice. I just want this over and done with please help me.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the money that I spent on the vehicle back so I can purchase a new vehicle with no worries or problems with my kids
