Review: I setup a payment plan with Key Financial almost two years ago. At the time I had 10 separate accounts (all from the same event/debtor, but for some reason were not combined into a single account...) and was given the impression that my payments would be divided among those accounts. After not missing a payment over those two years I was surprised that none of the accounts had been closed yet because many of them had small balances (between $100 and $200). During this time I also never received any billing statements or verification that my payments were being applied to my account(s), so I could not check to see how payments were being applied or even verify the balances were going down. I tried contacting Key Financial several times via email and never got a response of any kind. I finally called and managed to get a hold of them and they stated that all the payments had been going to the larger account only, contrary to what they had led me to believe. They refused to do any sort of back crediting to close the smaller accounts or to combine them into one account, so I still have 10 derogatory accounts on my credit. They also gave no apology for the total lack of communication about my past payments and their application to my accounts.Desired Settlement: I would like past payments applied to the smaller accounts in order to reduce those to zero balance and have them closed instead of having it all applied to the largest account. Going forward, I would like monthly itemized bills showing that my payments are received and what accounts they are being applied to. Along those same lines, I want to see a history of the last 22 months of payments that I have been making so that I can verify the balances were adjusted accordingly.
