Scammers plain and simple
I am head of maintenance for a senior living facility. First call was a guy who acted like he knew me. Very slick sales tactics. After they tried calling back I blocked the number, they found our business number and have been harassing our office manager saying the shipping manager or truck driver needed to talk to me. I totally expect them to ship us supplies we did not order and we will receive an over priced invoice we will not pay it and I am involving our legal team at this time. They are s[censored] of the earth dirtbags.

This company called our company demanding to talk to the maintenance man who they could not name stating they do business with us. I knew for a fact that we did not and asked them to leave a name and number that's when they became hateful and rude on the phone. Telling me that I don't sign the bills and I'm holding up the line for them to take care of our business during this covid-19 time. All because I asked for a name and number. What a shady company.

Spoke with Jack and Jerry. Very "fast -talking" people. Being that I've previously worked in sales, the attempt to talk as if they knew me didn't succeed. They attempted to send an order of bulbs after asking for my company's address. I advise everyone to slow the conversation down and ask as many questions as you can to avoid making an order by mistake. It was VERY scam like.

Rosedale Moose 1242 has dealt with Key Supply for years. Great company, great pricing, and always courteous service. Our sales rep, Mark, is extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of LED lighting. He helped us update all our Lodge lighting to energy efficient LED allowing us to significantly reduce our utility bills.

Have bought led lights from Key Supply many times in the past and have always been happy with their pricing and customer service. Would recommend them anytime.

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response • Oct 12, 2018

Thank you ***, we appreciate your continued business. Let us know how your energy savings works out.

We manage a high rise condominium in South Florida. For more than a year we have worked directly with Marvin at Key Supply. He is very knowledgeable and has always provided immediate assistance when we needed it. We are in the process of converting to LEDs, he took the time to educate us and provide options without trying to sell us on one product or over sell. He is a pleasure to work with and very responsive.

I oversee the maintenance department of a resort in Florida. When I took on this position our resorts lighting and lack off efficiency left a lot to be desired. A friend who manages another property nearby recommended I call Marvin at Key Supply to discuss upgrading our lights. Marvin is extremely knowledgeable and has guided me through the process of LED retrofits for my property. In less then two years, the energy savings have surpassed the cost of the entire retrofit project. I often get compliments from customers staying at our resort on how well lit the halls and garage are. I always get fair pricing and quick responses whenever I call to order or have questions. I would recommend Key Supply to any business looking for quality products and good customer service.

Vinny called me from a private number so I let it go to voicemail. His message was "Hey, it's Vinny from Supply Warehouse, we have a couple things here to ship to your company, call me back"

I Goggled the phone # and see that this is another one of those scam companies that try to get you to commit to overpriced merchandise you never wanted. We have never ordered anything from this company, never will.

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response • Sep 13, 2018

Vinny had called because he wanted to send the LED lighting catalog to the company. We have never done business with this company.

I must have a note on my desk every month from this company and have informed entire office of the horrible practices just to get in touch with the maintenance manager. I have tried the no thank you route and the more aggressive "don't call here again" method. Nothing works and if you read the Revdex.com comments for this company it is the same answer to the same problem numerous times. TOTAL SCAM COMPANY. Shame on them for disrupting people and attempting to scam them on a daily basis.

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response • May 07, 2018

We have made several attempts to reach Mr. Reilly to find out the name of the representative that has been calling him. To this date, we have not heard back from him. Please let us know the name of the representative that has been calling in order for us to ensure he/she will not call back. We have placed Callville Bay Marina on our Do Not Sell List. Please contact us directly if you receive another call.

First MR *** call me at my personal cell ,asking me to call back about an order I place or some change ,he said that he is an engineer for that company . I have no idea who this person is or what kind of business he is into.

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response • May 04, 2018

Our company distributes LED lighting supplies. We do not know what company Mr. works for.

We have received countless calls from several different people. The most recent was today from Jordan; she wanted my maintenance supervisors name and contact information. When I informed her that he was not available she decided to hang up. This has been the best interaction we have had with them. The times before they would become hostile and yell that they needed to speak with the maintenance supervisor immediately and would not take "no" for an answer. They would then hang up and call back a few minutes later asking the same information and I would still tell them he is unavailable but would be more than happy to take a message at this time they would ask if I understood the question that was being asked and then demand to speak to someone above me and when I tell them that it would still be me they needed to talk to they would hang up. We would not do business with these people who claim that "customer service is extremely important to them" if that is honestly the case then why are all the reviews talking about the negative customer service experience they had.

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response • Apr 11, 2018

We have spoken to Jordan regarding this specific customer interaction. She apologized for any inconvenience she may have caused. We have no way to look into the other calls that are referenced by Ms. because we do not know what business she represents. We do appreciate the feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve.

This company is a scam. They always call acting like we do business together. We have never done business with them and never will. 8 years of this nonsense. They must have changed their name a couple of years ago to cover up their poor reputation.

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response • Jan 15, 2018

Our company is not a scam. We called Mr. and he stated that he recently received 1 call from a representative. He does not want to receive any other calls. We informed him that we cannot prevent other companies from calling him. We have entered his information into our do not sell list and asked him to call us if he receives any calls from someone at our company.

I am the long-time receptionist at a company and have fielded several calls from Key Supply. They always ask for the maintenance supervisor and, when they don't reach their intended target, they call back and ask for names. They'll tell you that they're "at the warehouse" and need to talk to a supervisor about a part number. Our company doesn't do business with them, therefore there is no legitimate reason for me to page our supervisor, nor will I hand over his cell phone number.

I've experienced alarming aggression/rudeness from these folks when they don't succeed in their scan. They'll tell you that is isn't a scam, because they have ways of getting companies to say yes to various things or deceive them in to thinking that they have an open order. Don't be fooled.

I suggest that you not give over any information to anyone from Key Supply, regardless of how aggressive or mean they become. Hang up on them and don't pick up the phone when they call back (because they WILL call back). Incredibly disappointing that anyone would conduct a business in this manner.

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response

Thank you for the feedback. Customer service is our number one priority and this type of behavior will not be tolerated. We have discussed your concern with the individual and let them know that this is unacceptable. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Company called and left a message for me to call "Daniel" in the warehouse. I returned the call and was greeted by "Daniel" who acted as if we had done business for years. Saying things like "looks like they're keeping you pretty busy over there" (How the *** would he know?) Anyway he started off by asking for my information, and spelling of my last name etc, and said he was sending me a free gift. a knife I think. He said he wasn't in front of the computer so kept asking to spell my last name. After the call I researched the company and read all these bad reviews about being charged for lightbulbs they didn't order. So I called back and spoke to the rude lady that answers the phone at Key Supply Co. and asked to speak to "Daniel". Sure enough he was about to send me 30 lightbulbs just like everyone said they would. I declined the offer and told him we were all set and we didn't need anything right now. He said there must have been a misunderstanding. SUUUUUURE. Something tells me I wont be getting my free gift :(

Watch out for this company folks.

Company called claiming to be our electric company. Got ahold of our maintenance supervisors name. Continued to call back acting like he knew him and that there was confusion on an order we supposedly placed. NEVER heard of this company nor do we purchase such items from them. SCAM...

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response

Customer service is our highest priority and we appreciate the feedback. We do not tolerate negative interactions from our sales reps and have made that clear to this specific individual. We have also spoken with Ms. and apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Key Supply had our maintenance person name (who has not worked for our company for the last year) and shipped light bulbs to our facility without a PO being issued. This has happened now 3 times. I contacted Angie in their service department and told her we do not order without a PO being issued. I returned the last product and it was re-routed back to our company.

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response

The maintenance technician who ordered the lights worked there when we spoke to him. The product was damaged in transit and he sent us an email informing us of the damage along with a picture of the damaged merchandise. We reshipped the product which was then billed and paid for. We have been informed by Shawn Daugherty that all orders need a purchase order number and we have assured him that no other orders will be sent to their property.

Careful, these people call your place of business and get NAMES. They then send shipments to your maintenance department as if management ordered these items for the maintenance team. You do not find out about this for a month or two later, when they request your pay almost $400.00 for 72 light bulbs. This is laughable because they better never burn out for that cost. On top of that they will use the employee names as " Ordered by _______________". Then they keep the signature so when you get the shipment, they have one of your employees signatures. You know a company is crooked, when they fax you the first invoice and include the persons signature who signed for it!" No, other company of a good reputation would include such things. This company is humorous and if they think for a second we are paying for items we never ordered because they have a signature they are insane. Look at all the reports, how are these people still in business, work like the rest of us. Learn to earn business, not stalk and steal business. Maybe try just creating a decent product, it might take you further.

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response

This review is completely inaccurate. We do not ship products to customers without an order being placed. The first order was placed on April 19, 2017, and confirmed by our shipping manager. It was shipped, billed and then paid for on May 30, 2017. A second order was then placed on May 30, 2017, shipped, and billed. On August 2, 2017 the bill still remained unpaid so we faxed the invoice to Ms Sweeney. On August 14, we were told by Ms. Sweeney that she was looking into the payment status on the invoice for the second order, and would get back to us. On August 18, we faxed the invoice again and have now received this review.

All invoices include the name of the person who places the order. The signature that is referenced in this review is the signature that is on the *** proof of delivery when the product was delivered and signed for at the property.

Our priority is customer satisfaction. That is hard to achieve when a customer does not make us aware of their dissatisfaction. We have attempted to contact Ms. Sweeney to pick up the unwanted product at our expense, but she has not responded. We have voided the invoice and closed out the account.

Customer Response

Your business practices are completely inaccurate, I appreciate your "shipping manager" confirming our order. Your "shipping manager" I assume is the one falsifying orders then. You are right that you have already manipulated our company out of hundreds of dollars, before your complete scam was caught. I will not return the call or accept a call from a company that is a complete scam, answering our phone is what allowed you to scam us in the first place. You closed the account, fine, I am happy with that, and if you would please stop calling our office. Allow I would prefer the attorney general to get involved in your "sales tactics".

Just got a call from Dave claiming to be our electrical guy. Our receptionist took the initial call and told him I was busy and she could put him through to voicemail. At which time he got upset and told her she was wasting his time. He then demanded my cell phone number from her. She put him back on hold and was explaining all of this to me when he hung up. He called right back and did the same thing with another employee. Finally, I agreed to talk to him. He was all nice and friendly to me saying I know you guys use these products etc... He told me he was going to send out a catalog and a multi tool as a thank you which confused me since we had not done business with them. At the end of the conversation he said oh I will just mark you down for a box of product A, I said no, then I will just mark you down for a box of product B, no again. Then he said I will just mark you down for a box of light bulbs at which point I hung up. There had better not be anything sent to us as I will not accept it and did not order anything. You need to start doing business in a much more professional way and stop wasting peoples time and scamming them!

Key Supply, L.L.C. Response

We appreciate your feedback and apologize that you had a negative experience with one of our account representatives. We have gone over this review with the referenced rep and are currently working to improve his interactions with potential customers. We understand that your time is valuable and did not have intentions on wasting it. Nothing was sent to your company because there was no order placed.

How can they possibly have a B rating? This "company" is a total scam, probably operating out of somebody's mother's basement, I'm guessing it's a company in name only. They tried the same exact scam on us that all the complaints list. Some pushy clown calls up fast talking trying to get our purchaser's cell number. Then they offer to send a catalog but are pushing to get an order to take a case of light bulbs or floor cleaner. He just hung up, but won't be surprised if some box of whatever shows up. We will not sign for it. Luckily for us we've seen scammers like this before. They will not get a dime from us, but others beware and Revdex.com, change their rating! Makes me a little less proud of my company's A+. What good is it if an absolute scam gets a B?

I recently purchased led lights from key supply. I received the lights quickly and really like the quality of the bulbs. I would definitely use them again.
