Roughly in May I was in touch with Renfrew Chrysler who I dealt with for vehicles for most of my adult lifeI was looking at a newer vehicle and was going to trade in my Jeep Patriot for a newer vehicle namely the New Jeep Renegade which was very new to the market I was dealing with the sales person at the time and the sales manager who were insistent on putting me in a vehicle I did not want and were extremely belligerent in trying to force a deal which is when things broke downAt that time I made it explicitly clear that I will no longer be doing business with Renfrew and even the financing staff I was dealing with were to the point of harassment of forcing me into a deal I was not interested inThe amount of disrespect for being a year customer is what caused me to stop doing business with Renfrew and I was explicit by disbudding with the finance rep, the sales person and the sales manager who all were to the point of harassing me into this deal at the time when I explicitly told them no because it was a vehicle that did not have the options I wanted was not re color I wanted and since Chrysler had just launched the renegade from their plant in Melfi Italy they were having trouble bribing them to the Canadian market thus they were forcing me into a unit that was of no interest At any rate this complaint is about the fact that I no longer want to do business since that time with RenfrewThey lost my business as a result of the unbelievable level of disregard and disrespect I hard dealt with and at that time I told the sales manager to stop contacting me as well as the sales rep and finance dept rep and explicitly let Renfrew know I no longer want any business dealings with themI have copies of emails I sent informing Renfrew at that time that if they continued harassing me by constant contacting forcing me into this deal which the finance dept rep was even involved and getting to the point of harassmentI explicitly informed the sales manager at that time as well as the other agents of Renfrew to stop contacting me any further otherwise I would file a criminal harassment complaintFinally it stoppped Then today November 8, I get a call from a sales rep asking me about my Jeep Patriot which was the last vehicle I bought from Renfrew I have since moved my business elsewhere for purchasing vehicles It behooves me to no end that even after telling Renfrew Chrysler to NO CONTACT me ever again and that I'm done doing business with them for ANYTHING as a result of the total and complete disrespect and harassing nature of the staff at the time from roughly May which included not only the sales rep, but also the sales manager and financing rep who were dealing with me at that time Then today I got a call from another sales rep who was trying to pitch me sales and lure me in by saying they would by my Jeep Cherokee which I purchased elsewhereI explained myself to the rep and told him my business is done with Renfrew PERMANENTLY!!!!!! He was insisting to buy my Jeep to Get me into a new renegade!!!!!!!!!! When I'm not even interested since my new vehicle is only a year old!!!!!!!!!! Again this rep was rambling on with his insistence that they have new staff, new sales manager etc etc etc !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Insisting to by my vehicle back and force me into another vehicle!!!!! If I was looking for another vehicle at this time I would go and find onelikely elsewhereI have cut business with the arenfrew Chrysler dealership because of their total lack of respect t and disregard especially for a year customer from past.,obviously things have not changed there and the sales rep was just as insistent and unbelievably lacking any sense..,,.,, I called back to Renfrew after this call today and spoke to reception who indicated they would get me on a no call list!!!!! I've told them explicitly never to contact me any further and that was over a year ago when I was literally being harassed the details I could pull out from my computer and o do have copies of the mails sent to Renfrew sales manager, store manager and ownership indicating to never contact me any further and that they have pernantly lost my business!!!! I want Renfrew Chrysler to cease contacting me period! Now and I'm future! If this does not stop I will seek legal counsel and pursue criminal harassment charges as any contact from Renfrew has is unwanted and unwarrantedIf further contact persists now or in future I will seek legal action to ensure that it ceases

My complaint is that the GMC Sierra Vehicle I purchased from RENFREW CHRYSLER INC In Calgary on August 8,has mechanical issues that where hidden from myself and not claimed on the Mechanical Fitness Assessment Form that I signed
The issues known are as follows, Front brake pads, Front Rotors, rear rotors, (rusted through), all Transmission cooler lines are leaking, Oil cooler lines are leaking, (there is staining to prove that these where leaking previously), Power steering fluids need flushed and Brake Fluids need flushed, also the battery failed the cold cranking amp testThe "Technician Comments" section has hand written "Brakes All 5mm"I had the brakes checked today (January 28,2016) and the brake pads are 3mm in the front and 9mm in the rear, my thoughts on this are how do brake pads grow?
I was awarded a $gift card to bring back the vehicle to the dealership for my first oil change, I did this at 135,km, on December 29,and at that time I was made aware of the transmission cooler lines leaking, the battery, brake fluid and power steering fluid issuesUpon taking it to the local mechanic shop (All Fitts Automotive) they made me aware that the rotors where rusted through, the front pads where at 3mm, the rear where at 9mm and the oil cooler lines where leaking as well as the other issues noted at Renfrew
I had already replaced the battery with a $battery from NAPA as it is winter time here in Airdrie and with below temperatures I had to prioritize thatThe cost to fix all the repairs, battery aside, are $2,
I explained to the Service Adviser at Renfrew that I had purchased this vehicle from them just over months previously and only 10,km ago and he had to be mistaken, he informed me that it was all true and showed me the fluids on a fluid chart to prove that in fact they where no longer goodI argued that I should not have to pay for this as it should have been checked at the purchase date, (August 8,2015)He asked me to take it up with the used car manager so I did, I was sent to Ben ** in the used car department and was treated with complete disrespect and arroganceI was told that I signed the inspection form and saw the vehicle at purchase so it was my fault and not to bother him anymoreI was offended at this and told him I would be contacting AMVIC and the Revdex.com with this complaintHe asked me if I was threatening him and I told him "I'm asking you to do the right thing by fixing the issues that you guys have lied to me about at purchase and if you don't then I would have to do what was necessary to get the repairs covered as the inspection form was a hoax." He bluntly told me to get out of his office several times in a row without me saying a word, so I got up and left back to the service departmentI told them what had just happened and he offered to give me a battery at a discounted rate and knock the labor on the transmission cooler lines down to $an hour for the hours requiredI took the offer on the battery only to return it later when I had consulted with a friend that has a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and called GMC about the issuesThey both told me if the proper inspection had been done of the fluids 10,000km, months prior that there should be no issues with those particular fluidsI also recall a comment made by the service adviser that when he pulled the purchase inspection file it said at the purchase inspection the battery was tested as "low"
I faxed a letter with my concerns on January 26,to Tony who I was told was the sales manager to deal with and he called me saying he had the letter and would return another call soonI did not hear from him again, I called the Renfrew dealership today January 28,and was directed to other peoples desks when I asked for TonyFinally after mentioning the seriousness of this call did I get through to a Patrick and when I explained to him the situation he said he would get TonyTony got on the phone and became enraged that I was calling him back and told him he spoke to AMVIC and spoke to his lawyer and to go through the courts if I wanted my truck fixedHe was yelling at me on the phone as tho he was the victim and I have a witness that overhead thisI have been harassed by this dealership, lied to about the condition of the vehicle I purchased and emotionally stressed to the point of sickness over the way I was treated by the management of this dealership
From the technicians comments alone I have the proof that the proper inspection was not done if the brake pad's where noted as 5mm each and there is 3mm at the front and 9mm at the rearIt does not take much to know that this inspection was inaccurate and I was given the wrong information about the vehicleI am dealing with a costly repair bill and it is unsafe to continue using this vehicle as the brakes and rotors are at the point of possible failure which may cause harm to me

I have since moved my business elsewhere for purchasing vehicles.

It behooves me to no end that even after telling Renfrew Chrysler to NO CONTACT me ever again and that I'm done doing business with them for ANYTHING as a result of the total and complete disrespect and harassing nature of the staff at the time from roughly May 2015 which included not only the sales rep, but also the sales manager and financing rep who were dealing with me at that time.
