I take this complaint with the Revdex.com very seriously I have Keys to Denali, Car Rental for almost years I have never had a complaint I have had several people who did not want to pay for damages they did to our cars to include chips and cracks in windshield and worse to trying to pay me out of pocket for real damages I always go through body shops in Fairbanks for repairs, and there always is a third company involved with these repairs.I rented a Honda Accord, 2012, to [redacted] for a two-day car rental starting mid-day on July He told me his mother was paying for his vacation time and he was on his mother's insurance for one more year He is On July mid-day, he reported he was getting a hair cut and had left the car on the Princess Hotel property The bumper was ready to fall offI picked him for the rental near his work, and I drove him miles to our rental office He said the car was really nice We rent our cars for 1/of the year during the summer season When he was leaving he noticed the bumper was puckered on the driver's side He reported this damage to Terry M***, who said he knew about the damage [redacted] left for his 2-day rental The next time we saw the car in the Princess Hotel Parking lot, the bumper was being held on by two zip ties that were holding the electrical plug for the block heaters We borrowed dikes and packed the bumper into the back seatI went to the beauty salon to ask Mr [redacted] if he needed a ride home, as I had another car and to get the key for the broken car.He continued with his hair cut, never came out to us to discuss the damage, and never wrote or called us until Terry and I (separately) wrote him His response was to contact you in case any damages were reported on his insurance.I have since learned that there was much more damage than I suspected to the car From Jose"s Body Shop in Fairbanks, after the car was towed in, I have learned there was extensive damage done either before or during Mr***'s miles rental The headlight needs to be replaced, the bumper needs to be replaced, the fender coverings need to be replaced, and part of the grill needs attention I will send you a copy of the estimate for repairs from Jose's.Mr [redacted] has refused ANY responsibility Mr [redacted] did us tell he had hit some frost heaves just before he called us and went to his hair appointment.I take this complaint very seriously and this is my first complaint to Revdex.com, but renters often refuse to take responsibility when damage is done, even chipped windows This is extensive damage, which certainly was not evident when Mr [redacted] took the car.Ann [redacted] -M***owner, Keys to Denali

There is missing information from *** ***’s responseWe wash and inspect our rental cars on property after every rentalI drove highway miles in the same car to pick up Mr*** and returned miles to the office. I never heard or saw damages that would reflect how the car was returned to us. I would not rent a damaged carMr*** had the car for two days and drove it miles. It was left in a hotel parking lot with the bumper almost on the ground for us to retrieveI went to the hotel’s beauty salon where Mr*** was having his hair cut to retrieve the key and ask if he needed a ride. He never came to see us at the car location, and I contacted him later by e-mailHe threatened in e-mails to post negative reviews on Revdex.com, Trip Advisor (just removed) Yelp, etcif I demanded payment for the damages. I turned the claim over to Lancer’s Insurance, my first in yearsI had the car towed to Jose’s Body Shop in Fairbanks, miles to the north. I contacted my insurance company, and they are now dealing with Mr***. I provided pictures I took and pictures taken by the body shop; the signed contract, reports from the body shop and e-mails. I sincerely hope Mr*** will provide pictures he reported he tookI will let the experts decide how the damages came to be, how the car should be fixed and how things should be settled financially. This is also my first claim with Revdex.com in both my businesses, years and years, respectively

I am rejecting this response because:they are renting out cars that are damaged to travelers and people
Renting cars I was trying to have a get away weekend that was ruined by this whole fiasco but I pointed it out to the owners /renters they are trying to charge me for things that didn't occur on my rental I've never reported one of these before but I've seen the reviews on trip advisor where the owner has downgraded things in people's comments about the Denali done home b&b but there is no comments or review about the rental car company out of same property it seams like a scam to me renting out cars to people that have damage and try to blame them for damage the haven't caused I drive commercially 4+ years on semis and busses have no tickets no accidents and have a awesome driving record you have to keep your CDlThis company is trying to downplay the severity of this situation the didn't even do a walk around inspection til I had to ask them to one which should be a protocol of any rental car companyAlso the owner called my place of work and complained to my boss which is unproffesional This company was nice at the beginning but when I see dome of there reviews or try and call them to work it out the owner terry yells talk to my lawyer and hangs upI will not be paying any damages and neither will my insurance because this company new about the damages and rented md the car knowing full well of the damages already.this company is a scam trying to advantage of people and charge them for prievious rental damages and say the current renter damaged it

I am rejecting this response because:the facts detailed above in businesses comments are somewhat true but they are missing or wrong on a lot of details in this detailed report from business the damage to the car was done before I took the car off the property when I took the car I pointed it out to owner terry/owner on walk around inspection that they don't do here any rental car place I've rented beforewalks around the car with customer doing a notation of all scratch dents dings ect I had to go walk up to door and ask him to come out and inspect the car with me after I notice the bumper was popped out and already damaged he (terry) said it was fine to take the car as he new about the damage I said are u sure he said yes and wanted to get back into his house as fast as possible I could tell I drove to Denali Fairbanks Fairbanks back to Denali I took extra car with there car as it was my own when I got back the front plastic cover of bumper came off as the rings on either side of bumper were broken. When a cars plastic ring that holds it on in corner is popped out that indicates the previous renter damaged the car there was no damage done by me the owners took little car in inspection of there vehicle before they rented it out or switch me out another vehicle which the didn't do when I pointed out bumper on there driveway so I don't see why I have to pay for a previous renters damages I have behind picks to prove my case

I take this complaint with the Revdex.com very seriously.  I have Keys to Denali, Car Rental for almost 9 years.  I have never had a complaint.  I have had several people who did not want to pay for damages they did to our cars to include chips and cracks in windshield and worse to trying to...

pay me out of pocket for real damages.  I always go through body shops in Fairbanks for repairs, and there always is a third company involved with these repairs.I rented a Honda Accord, 2012,  to [redacted] for a two-day car rental starting mid-day on July 20.  He told me his mother was paying for his vacation time and he was on his mother's insurance for one more year.  He is 25.  On July 22 mid-day, he reported he was getting a hair cut and had left the car on the Princess Hotel property.  The bumper was ready to fall off. I picked him for the rental near his work, and I drove him 18 miles to our rental office.  He said the car was really nice.  We rent our cars for 1/2 of the year during the summer season.  When he was leaving he noticed the bumper was puckered on the driver's side.  He reported this damage to Terry M[redacted], who said he knew about the damage.  [redacted] left for his 2-day rental.  The next time we saw the car in the Princess Hotel Parking lot, the bumper was being held on by two zip ties that were holding the electrical plug for the block heaters.  We borrowed dikes and packed the bumper into the back seat.
