Continuous violations from HOA but non responsive on my requests or issues.I am deeply frustrated with Talis Management and wanting a resolve higher than the community here. I purchased my home from the builder in the [redacted] community and moved in January 23rd. I received my first violation from the HOA in May 2013 stating to cut the grass and remove the weeds from the yard. I responded by complying with the violation only to later find out from the builder that the yard shouldn't have been cut until 7-9 months after it was laid and the season had been consistently warm. Now fast forward into late August I am dealing with the yard dying and fungus in spots and have gone to have to pay for a treatment plan through a landscaping service. I then received another violation in September in which I specifically stated about the yard being treated and now the same again. It seems to me there is no communication within Talis and I am not please at all with the repeat violations being left at my door. I also feel that the staff is not knowledgeable in regards to the guidelines and how they directly conflict with our warranties from the builders. I initially back in April put in a request for a satellite and was told the only place I could place it was on the back of the house on the roof and in which it voids the warranty. I feel that if Talis and the board allowed these homes to be built with violations then that is on the HOA company. I am at the point where the repeat violations being left is borderline harassment when the expense is on to rectify the yard situation based on Talis initial direction in cutting the yard before its time. I have stated already numerous times that there is no definite time frame for the treatment plan. I call the company they come out and I pay and they come back reevaluate and the cycle continues all they while the expense has been on me.Desired SettlementI am looking for the Management company to cease with the violation letters until the treatment of the yard is complete or for the HOA to absorb the cost of the remaining treatment plans and reimburse me for the past treatments.Business Response /[redacted]/We deeply regret Ms [redacted] is upset about the HOA violations. The primary issue seems to be a misunderstanding about the violations. Ms [redacted] seems to believe the four violation letters were due to one issue. In fact there are two separate issues; 1 - Weeds in the yard. 2 - Weeds in the flower beds, and tree area, and fresh mulch needed. Two separate issues - two letters each. Here is a summary of the violations:May 2013 - Violation letter for weeds in yard. Violation closed upon promise of adherence.September 2013 - Violation sent for weed in yard. Violation closed upon verbal notification that a lawn treatment plan was in effect. September 2013 - Violation for weeds in flower beds and need for fresh mulch. October 2013 - Violation for weeds in flower beds and need for fresh mulch. November 14, 2013 - Still in violation for weeds in flower beds and need for fresh mulch. The HOA board of directors is fully aware of the issues and has directed Talis to pursue compliance. Simple resolution only requires eliminating weeds from the flower bed and around trees and providing fresh mulch. Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/The violations listed to not state the entire problem. I have communicated several times to the HOA that from the end of September the violations state need for fresh mulch. I have told Talis numberous times that I was having a problem with slime mold due to the lawn company for too much water retaining on the property. The gentleman advised to not put anything down while he was treating the grass with the polybicarbonate he puts down. He has been placing it over the entire yard and he comes back and checks a week later and advises next steps from there. Recently as of Nov 4. Neighbor next door notified us that their water had been on and being used as well notified through email correspondence with [redacted] about the someone leaving our water faucets on. Cameras were installed and found out that the contractors are coming through the neighborhood and using the water off of our homes. Emailed Talis with this notification. This has been the problem with my lawn havig too much water and not being able to get rid of the spores. The lawn gentleman comes out and then comes back in a week. He was there during 11/9 and just came back again 11/16. When he was there on 11/9 he said to not do anything until he came back this past weekend. That includes not putting any mulch down. Final Business Response /[redacted]/Talis has requested copies of any and all documentation from this Ms [redacted]'s landscaper regarding the issues with her lawn. Talis was not aware of the fungus issue until 11/18/13. As of 11/18/13, we have requested information regarding what it will take to remedy the issues and when the treatment plan will be completed. Ms [redacted] has promised to send in the information, which we are still waiting on. Upon receipt of the documentation, the homeowner has requested that a meeting be scheduled with the board of directors to discuss this matter further. The violation will remain open until treatment has been completed and compliance has been made. Talis spoke to Ms [redacted] on 11/18/13, and the agreement was, that she is to email Talis all of her documentation to support her statements, and Talis will coordinate a meeting with the board of directors for her so that this matter can be resolved.Talis was not aware of the trespassing /water usage issues until 2 weeks ago. We are currently working on trying to identify who the people are that are coming into the community and using the homeowners water so that they can be notified.
