My Father is years oldWe had Keystone In Home Care, aide taking care of himShe was an excellent care giverThe agency owner John G*** said she could take care of my father M,T,W, FThe VA had approved my father for days a weekI inquired about ThursdaysThe owner John G*** said the aide we had, was already taking care of a very ill patient so she couldn't be moved to my father Long story shortI found our aid, on Thursdays on Face Book, doing all personal things.Then found out there was no "ill Patient" that she was taken care of So I Yesterday 9-17-sent a text message to the agency : Here is my text:
Cara,(Office Manager) I have a questionI know you said you were short handed for us on Thursdays and I understand thatAnd you said if you had someone free you would send her to us So why not Shanna? She is free on Thursday Cause she just posted a picture on Face Book that she is getting her hair done I am confusedTheir response:

With all due respect I am offended by your textYour father is not the only person Shanna takes care of plus she has administrative duties within our companyShe is working well over hours per week, attends night school and takes care of her familyShanna is our best caregiver and you will not find a more caring person to care for your father For you to expect her to give more than she already has is unconscionableThere is no need to respond to my messageNow I find absolutely no reason why I was treated so rudelyThey have had their aide Shanna in our home since June 22, she was treated like familyand my father loved herThis is so not rightmy year old father is destroyed and heart brokenshe was with him from 8:30am to 4:30pm all daysthis is not how you run a home care business for disabled veteransMy father has Lewy body dementia and Alzheimer'sAND in the past years heart attacksShe no longer works here in our homeI was so insulted by the owners text, I fired them They were rude, nasty and had no regard for my fathers well being, and that's why the state pays themI wish the state could actually know how disrespectful this agency isNot the aide Shanna, but the agency she works for Keystone In Home Care 900-C Centerville Rd, Lancaster, PA
