Review: My husband has referred dozens of clients to AAA over the years we missed a $170 payment. He called today to pay it. The customer service rep said OK I could pay it. The policy canceled only five days ago. We both have stellar credit. When my husband called back to pay it they no longer let him pay it. They said it had to go to underwriting. This has never happened before.
We received no phone call no email that are policy was going to cancel. This is outrageous. We have been clients for decades. This is insane.Desired Settlement: Keystone must accept my payment for the insurance. Our policy number is [redacted]. I am the one that pays this bill in the house. I have been working extra hours and didn't receive any notice. I get text messages from my bank. Some companies send bills and reminders though email and without exception everyone calls if they are going to cancel a service for nonpayment. This is so outrageous. I am certain 9 of 10 customers when given a phone call and a warning that their policy would lapse they would pay it. I am going to notify the department of insurance and banking and file a small claim case if this is not resolved. My job is to help save lives as a nurse. It is outrageous a single phone call could not be made to accept my payment and then when my husband called they lied to him they said he could make a payment and then when I called back with my credit card information they refused to accept it. My desired settlement is reinstate the policy.
