In regards to complaint [redacted] Keystone Medicals' policy is no returns / refunds after days and no returns / refunds of lift chair reclinersThe chair was fully functional and had no defects, therefore the basis for this return / refund is addressed in the return policyKeystone Medical has followed the return policy with this claim and no refund or return will be given.Thanks.Chris E

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The quoted policy is not posted any where on the business website or on the paperwork we receivedFurthermore, when this purchase was made, our understanding was that Medicare would cover part of the costThis was advice from Christy at Keystone MedicalSince my Mother-in-law passed away never using the chair, Medicare will not cover any of the expensesWe also noticed that Keystone sells preowned equipmentWe are not arguing that the chair functions- we honestly don't even know that it does, since it was never used.The quoted return policy strikes us as arbitrary and non-binding since it is not posted any whereThis is a privately held company and the owner has it within his power to make an exception to the so- called policyWe will pay a restocking fee, but no refund/ no return is not acceptable Regards, [redacted]

In regards to *** *** claim*** *** will only warranty there lift chairs to the original purchaserWhen she called for the service call, she claimed she was the purchaserAfter we dispatched a service technician and upon his arrival in her home we were informed that she
"inherited" the chair from her parentsOur service tech David R*** did adjust the feet to level the chairWe did deliver the chair to her parents home on initial purchase, however, we did not move the chair to *** *** home and set it upTherefore, it is her responsibility to correctly level the chairIt was our conclusion that over time or upon *** *** moving the chair to her home, the chair needed to be re leveledIn regards to her other claims in regards to how she was treated by our staff, I was reassured by both Paula, Elena and David that they used professionalism when dealing with *** *** accusationsShe will not under any circumstances be refunded her service call.Thanks....Chris E

I am rejecting this response because:
The quoted policy is not posted any where on the business website or on the paperwork we received. Furthermore, when this purchase was made, our understanding was that Medicare would cover part of the cost. This was advice from Christy at Keystone Medical.
