We have tried numerous times to accommodate this customerThe tacker machine in question was out of the one year warrantyIt is important that you read our return policy listed on the bottom of all our invoicesCustomer had emailed us pictures of the said machine head which *** had
smashed while in transitThe machine was double boxed in correlated cartons, banded, taped, solidly packed, and marked “fragile"Strange they did not make a claim until days after they received it.A copy of the original invoice is attachedIn order to resolve this we can not repair a smashed machineThis was a reconditioned machine and we have no more machines like it as a replacementEven though they had the unit for over one year we will propose to refund the money less the 20% restocking charge, They are still in possession of the motor/stand which in itself would cost over $They can keep the motor/stand as sending it back would cost them over $in trucking cost.Even though our policy is store credit only, in this case we will refund them $860.00; they can keep the motor/stand and as a goodwill gesture we will not deduct the cost of shipping the merchandise out to them in TexasUnfortunately when merchandise is severely broken in transit we just do not have control of thatI may add that this happens very rarely if at all in our years in businessAny questions, feel free to speak to meWe do want this resolved
