Review: They did a bad service on my driveway.There is pretty a lot of thick tar markings on driveway.There is 3 lump of thickness on my driveway.There is a tar on my paved brick sidewalk.there is a tar covered on my mulches.There is a long tar covered on my edge of grass on side of driveway. they did the service on sept 6 th as I was away on a vacation for 2 weeks and I came back and noticed the problems then I called the Owner of the company and complained the problems and they came down and I showed the problems ,The owner/worker made fun of me as I am deaf, I tried to explained them the problems and they laughed at me !.This is like a DISCRIMINATION to me.Please help.Thank YouDesired Settlement: I want a full refund for this bad services from Keystone paving companyTotal cost is $375.00 for the service.

In response to the complaint filed against our company the following is our response.

We were in the neighborhood of the consumer in late August, early September. We had our men out doing several other driveways on that street. During which time **. [redacted] approached them and asked them for a price on getting his driveway seal coated. We gave him the price and explained (in writing as he is in fact deaf) what would be done to his driveway and he agreed to let us seal coat it. He said that he was leaving for a vacation and would leave the payment with his neighbor. On Saturday September 21st 2013, I received a voicemail from the consumer stating that he was unhappy with the services he received. [redacted] (the owner of the company) went out and surveyed the job, he did notice the small mark of the sealer on one of the pavers, [redacted] acknowledged it and told the consumer that he would have the men come back and take care of that issue, as for the rest of the driveway everything that was done, was done according the high standards that we set forth. [redacted] advised the consumer to call three other contractors and have them come out and survey the job as well, to ensure the consumer that he was in fact, getting that job that he paid for. At this point the consumer became angry and told [redacted] to leave his property. Our company receives 95% of our work from referral business, customer service is the most important part of our business. We currently are doing about 25-35 driveways a week and have never received a complaint towards our company, our hope is to get this resolved so that both us and the consumer can move forward.

I am rejecting this response because:

This is not true at all ! , I never said to get out , I said if you cant take care of the problems don't come here no more, however the reason why I said that was you and other guy made fun of me and laughing at my voice which I cannot speak perfectly but my neighbor saw the whole thing, and I was not too happy with his approaching toward me with his making fun of me that I am deaf. Also he did admit there is some marks on it and he didn't tell me he was going to come back and take care of this matters, all I want is this is to be taken care of this IMMEADIATE , I do not accept this behavior coming from this company. He said he do 25-35 driveways per week and do you think all is perfect job ? It must have some flaws job in it, maybe some people wont care, but I care of my driveway. If you want to solve this matter , come here and FIX this problems and get it over with ! If not I want full money back $375.00 and I will have another contractor come and reseal it. I can bet you if I get another contractor and show them, they will say it a terrible job, they would not do this kind of mishaps. Please call me now to set up appointment to come and reseal it. If not then refund me the money back !

This will be our last and final response to the above complaint. In order to resolve the "issue" that **. [redacted] is claiming to, we are going to agree to come out and fix the "problem". We are not going to continue to go back and forth all on account of hear say with **. [redacted]. However with that being said, we are going to do so under three conditions. Firstly, the matter will be under civil terms e.g. no yelling, arguing, or any kind of derogatory demeanor will be accepted towards any of our employees. Secondly, we will be bringing a secondary contractor with us to ensure **. [redacted] again gets a job well down. And Thirdly, we will video tape the entire re-coat process to ensure that there will, by no means be any issues during the entire process. We pride our company's name on satisfaction guaranteed, it is an unfortunate matter that it has come to such terms as these.
