Revdex.com:
I have...

reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Below is my correspondence e-mail in reply to their offer of refunding me only $361 +  tax and find my own fabricator.   I am not willing to accept  their refund check of  $361  because  it won't be enough to cover any of the extra cost of
to go looking for a fabricator,   paying for the labor,   transport company to transport a breakable piece of granite plus the unknown weather I get the same Cirrus stone I selected last week base on past history.

All I am asking now is  they complete the vanity top with the Cirrus remnant I selected last week without charging me extra.  I have waited 17 months.

If they are not willing to complete the vanity top themselves, I will be no longer interested in looking for a fabricator, hauling stones from KG [redacted]n, but instead I would go to  a granite company to complete this 17 months old project.

According to [redacted]'s calculation per his invoice below on a new piece of Cirrus stone vanity;

1,274 + $64.98 tax = $1,338.98 Cirrus stone
$750.00 labor

plus the refund of  Calcutta Gold of $379.00 from June 2013.

I would want at least a check of $2,468.00
I am not even charging my wasted effort and time for the past 17 months.

It would be cost effective for K G  [redacted]n  to finish the project themselves as  I am not willing to haul stone from their yard.

I will not accept a $361 refund with a flab of stone.

Clearly we disagree. We will be refunding her money for the remnant. We tried several times to make this customer happy and we obviously can't. Her claim that we've been sitting on her project for 17 months is patently false as she's been out of the country for most of this time with no communication with my company. We made the offer to pick any remnant she wants and she's been here to find something several times without success. We are certainly not on the same page here and it will be best for both parties not to work together as the animosity is increasing. I'm happy to give her a refund and go our separate ways. I've been in business long enough to know when we cannot satisfy an unreasonable customer and when to extend a refund.
Thanks,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[redacted], the owner had decided to change on his word that I pays for the labor after my last week's stone selection when [redacted], the sales rep was instructed to sends me the invoice.
I would be perfectly happy if he honors his word not to charge for the labor when he shook his hands with me stating that he will take care of the return when I shows up at his office in June 2013. Revdex.com name was brought up during that meeting in June 2013.   [redacted] was caught in the middle not knowing about the hand shake agreement.  He is having to carried instruction from his boss in dealing with me.
[redacted] stated that they had failed to get in touch with me me over the year due to my absence is false.  I am a practitioner who runs a day to day business and can't leave the country for more than a week.  I have my cell phone record to prove on all calls came in from KG [redacted]ns and [redacted]'s.   They are both trying to cover their basis about my complaint to Revdex.com to protect their business reputation.

As a customer, I felt cheated and fooled after making 8 trips to their business, not once but 3 times of stone selected gone missing, many un-return phone calls, 3 times [redacted] visit to my house to measure trying to make me happy after reported missing stones and my file.  [redacted] is carrying out [redacted] order to charge me which I did not know of until last week.  It would not be fair to a customer who had waited for 17 months.

As a business owner myself, I felt that [redacted] is doing a very good job currying out [redacted]'s order.   I also believe their Sales Order cannot be written up until the big boss final approval as to who gets the remnant stone sold to.  I insisted on a sales order without leaving their office after my final selected stone.  He told me that cannot be done because he had to consult his authority and will get back with me next couple of days.  I also warn him that I will not take silent any more like he did for the past 3 missing stone incidents without any written up paper work.   For all the those 3 missing selected stones with my name paste on the Stone, in my opinion it was sold to the highest paid customer because I was a "non sale customer". I was consider a customer that they did a favor for, therefore I ended not getting my selected stone over a period of 17 months.  This is unfair and discrimination.  I am a woman and a Chinese.    If they were up front with me on June 2013 meeting, I would had ask for the refund and went somewhere else.  It is now 17 months and [redacted] decide to cut tie by refunding my original stone refund of $361.  This is unfair business practice to hold a customer wondering for 17 months, the grief of not having a bathroom to use and all those trips and stone selection processes and [redacted] measuring and re-measuring at my house.

I resort to complaint this matter to Revdex.com for their unfair business practice toward me.  In [redacted]'s letter, he mentioned that they will sent the refund check of the original amount but I reply that it will not be cash until I see an discriminatory attorney.

It is final that I would like Revdex.com to take disciplinary action against this business.  They should not be rated A+ business under Revdex.com.

Thank you.

I am the salesperson who has been working with [redacted].

Attached you will see the e-mail I sent [redacted] on Friday 10-18-14 after meeting with her on Thursday 10-17-14 for her to come back and select a remnant for her vanity top.  At that time she asked me if there would be an additional cost for the top and I mistakenly said no.  (Please see my explanation in the attached e-mail).

[redacted] has been a very particular customer who was looking for just the right stone for her vanity.  Remnants are sometime difficult to work with when people are looking for something specific.  [redacted] originally had picked a piece of Calcutta Gold marble and was having another fabricator do the fabrication and installation of the top.  That fabricator said there was a stain on the marble and he was concerned about it.  When remnants are purchased they are sold as is.  We do have a sign off sheet stating that and [redacted] signed it on 6-28-13. (see attachment)  We don’t usually take them back but I was trying to help [redacted] so I did accept the return and said she could pick another remnant.  I also told her at that time it would be an additional 400.00 for us to fabricate and install the remnant.   I hadn’t heard anything from [redacted] from 6-28-13 to,  I believe, 6-25-14, basically one year later.  I really had thought she had done something else with another company.   Since June of this year [redacted] has been back a few time and didn’t find anything she liked so decided to wait awhile and come back later. Prior to this last visit she did find a piece of Minuet that would work for her, unfortunately that piece got lost or broken, which we state on the sign off sheet “unforeseen events can take place.”   That brings us to this last visit, which she found a piece of Cirrus and I thought we would be able to put this job to rest.

I can understand [redacted]’s frustration, but I honestly feel we tried to take care of her.  It is my feeling that the best solution to this complaint is to give [redacted] back her 361.00 that she paid for the Calcutta Gold and she can use that to work with another fabricator.

We are very concerned about customer satisfaction, our business image and reputation in the industry and we take complaints like this seriously.

Please see the attachments to support what we have done and what I have just explained.
Attachment #1 e-mail on 10-18-14 to [redacted] explaining extra cost
Attachment #2 sign off sheet for original remnant
Attachment #3 paid invoice showing the amount of credit for the returned Calcutta Gold.

I would be happy to address any other questions or concerns that you have.

Thank you

Review: Had waited for 17 months for a paid bathroom granite countertop, still no delivery of product that was promised without extra charges. Now wanting more money. The boss, [redacted] did not honor his word about not charging extra. A verbal agreement was made on June 2013 but was never follow thru in delivery. I had already showed up 7 more times at their backyard to select remnant of granite during the past 17 months without any delivery. I received an e-mail today from the sale rep that the accounting department wanting me to pay extra $389 for the stone I selected. The agreedment with the boss, [redacted] on June 2013, that everything will be taken care off but now I had to pay extra.Desired Settlement: I like to have Cirrus countertop fabricated ASAP without extra charge per hand shake agreement on June 2013.
