I have NOT been satisfied in the matter of my credit card information being absolutely deleted from their system

I initially signed up with this company because they advertised a book I wanted to download once I became a member the book was now where to be found in their catalogIt may be that I missed read something in their advertisement either way a legitimate company shouldn’t need to trick people

Review: This is advertised as a site that you can sign up for a free 5 day trail. I did, and found out that it did not have the products I needed so I immediately cancelled. When I got into the cancelation process they then tell you there is a $1 fee to cancel and it takes 3 days to process. Thus, if I had waiting to cancel it on the fifth day I would have automatically been charge the $34.95 fee since those three days would put you past your 5 day free trial. I feel this is sneaky and false advertising and that they have probably collecting memberships on many people who did not want their services.Desired Settlement: I just want to make sure they don't continue to take other peoples money.

Review: I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS BUSINESS NOR DO I PLAY VIDEO GAMES OR SIGN UP FOR THEIR MEMBERSHIP- THEY HAVE ILLEGALLY CHARGED MY BANK ACCT FOR MONTHS TOTALLING MORE THAN $400- When I called to inquire about who the hell they are- they said they would refund my acct for the last days- but that they could not provide me with full refund due to their policy- I was also surprized to hear their recording options- option #Was to CANCEL??? who the hell has a business with the first phone option is to cancel unless they operate illegally- please shut this place down- they are frauds!!! Also they claim I must handwrite a letter to [redacted]-- in order to get refund- I would personally like to speak with this CRIMINAL!!! HE SHOULD BE ARRESTED.Desired Settlement: THIS BUSINESS SHOULD FULLY REFUND MY ACCT- plus they should be investigated by the appropriate internet governing agencies, as well as the FBI- if any company can do this then CONSUMER PROTECTION doesn't EXIST!

Review: Wanted to download an article/ebook & was prompted to sign up for a mandatory "free" account in order to receive a link to the article. It asked for credit info to verify my address. From there, I had to choose a membership, none of which were free. I chose the trial membership for $1. After I gave my credit card info & paid the fee, I logged in an no such product exists on their website! I then went to cancel the membership & I was charged another $.99.Desired Settlement: Stop this from happening to other people. A refund for the $1.99 just based on principle.

Review: El 19 de junio de 2015 me anuncian de mi banco BBVA, sucursal Medellín-Colombia, que han cargado a mi tarjeta de crédito un cobro por $68.722.oo (pesos colombianos) a nombre de gamefoo.net[redacted] (al parecer filial de la firma ante la cual me quejo). Al abrir el navagador Mozilla Firefox, me aparece sin haberla pedido, la web http://www.mystartsearch.com, la cual me muestra decenas de links de juegos.

Soy una persona de 67 años, pensionado, cuya principal actividad es la lectura. Los juegos de video no me gustan y jamás compraría nada de eso. De modo que me sorprende ese cobro, que nunca autoricé, y me preocupa que en poder de los supuestos vendedores estén mis datos, incluido el número de la tarjeta de crédito.

Gracias por su ayudaDesired Settlement: Que la empresa en cuestión renuncie a cobrarme un servicio que nunca solicité.

Apparently signed up for a "free" account. Once they get your membership money they will not refund even if you haven't used their services. This is a scam and a greedy company surviving off "brown charges"

Review: Claimed we have signed up for a free trial version that when the free trial expired were automatically set up on a subcription. When I finally noticed the charges they would only give a partial refund.Desired Settlement: Full refund
