Found other dealers such as *** KIA and *** that offered the exact same car that I bought for $2k lessOther dealerships were offering less than what I paid, cash back and comparable trade I felt pressured, and that I'm getting a heck of a deal and in reality I didn't get a fair price What should I expect anyways, there's a reason why car dealers earn their notorious reputations as crooks, and swindlersBottom line, it's about them making money and taking advantage of a person, especially a woman Overheard another salesman trying to bully a couple into buying a new car which the gentleman clearly stated that he could not afford The ruthlessness, unprofessionalism, audacity and pure classlessness of that person was apalling and should have raised a red flag in me He degraded this man by sarcastically saying sure lets wait until the interest rates go up, economy takes a downturn to buy a new car I couldn't get over that behavior and was so taken aback by it What a poor display of ethics or lack thereof It was all about a saleDo what you can to make it and who cares if the person was blatantly saying I can't afford the mortgage and food let alone a new car Disgusted Aside from that, I will not recommend this dealership I did not get a fair nor competitive price Also, upon the sale of the vehicle I purchased, whoever removed the window sticker, tore the tinted window film and never said a word When we were ready to leave, is when we noticed it...not the dealership We were told to contact the GM to make an appointment to bring it in in which we did and now we have been told we need to bring it back becuase service wasn't aware it was being brought in The tint person can take us tomorrowIt starts already

This location seems to be using willfully deceptive advertising. During a second party "takeover sales event" mailers are sent out with seemingly purposefully confusing wording. It would seem as though you've won. Limiting their culpability and using this other buisness as a shield. Shameful.

Review: We purchased a vehicle from kia of milford on sept 30 2013 a 2010 chevy equnoix with 56,000 miles we were very excited, until Oct.1 2013 our nighmare began electrical issues ie.. navigation/radio. that we had to fight for to have fixed .and after spending 20,000 dollars the day before! were told we would have to pay another $1500.00 to fix the problem, after going back and forth for sometime they told us we would only have to pay 200.00 which we felt was very unfair considering we just purchased the vehicle. We told them to do the work . What else were we supposed to do?! Then around the middle of November we noticed the car was starting to get loud, so my husband checked the oil and had to add a quart and a half . Then around the beginning of December we noticed the vehicle getting loud again so my husband checked the oil again and had to add almost another 3 quarts. We thought this was odd considering we always park our car in the garage and not a drip of oil was on the ground. So where was the oil going!? Well on Dec. 9th my husband called the chevy dealership of milford that is owned also by Kia of milford where our car was fixed the first time he spoke to the service dept. And they told him he could wait until after the holiday if he wanted to bring it down, but we were nervous we did not know what was wrong or what could happen to the car so we called again and brought it in on Dec 11 2013. We waited a few days and didnt hear anything so I called, they informed us that our motor needed to have all the pistons and rings replaced! We were beside ourselves , heartbroken! Needless to say and come to find out when we reserched this problem it is a problem on the 4cylinders, so we were a little confused because the sticker on the vehicle we bought said our car was a v6 3.0 liter Chevy Equnoix LTZ . So how could this be? We feel like we were lied to , decieved..I Called the Owner Jeff Zee and asked for our money back! No response yet,it is now Jan 4 2014 and we still have no car.Desired Settlement: We paid all together between our $10, 000 loan a bank check of 9,817.01 a 100 deposit and our trade plus tax 21,617.01 we would like a refund of that amount in full please . Considering we will have no vehicle either since we gave them a perfect working vehicle as a trade in, the only reason we got rid of it was the high miles,.. big mistake!!!! Now the car we purchased has deprciated in its value .What a dissapointment, I hope the owner Jeff Zee will do the right thing and return our money.

Response:

The response to this complaint is twofold since the there

are two completely different issues that have both been resolved. First the Scala’s purchased a used Chevy

Equinox from Kia of Milford on September 30, 2013 with 55,734 miles on the

odometer. The vehicle was a one owner

trade that had been thoroughly safety check and serviced by Kia of Milford for

resale as used vehicle. At that time the

vehicle had rear brakes done, oil change, tire rotation, air filter replaced

and a 4 wheel alignment performed. During the 60 day, 3000 mile warranty period

the vehicle was returned to Kia of Milford for a radio concern that was not a

covered repair under the stated coverage warranty. Apparently the radio and

clock lost memory so the vehicle was referred to Chevrolet of Milford for

possible manufacturer warranty coverage.

With the help of Chevrolet warranty the Scala’s navigation was replaced

almost entirely by Chevrolet. The system cost was over $2000 dollars, Kia of

Milford contributed $200 as good will and the Scala’s paid $200 for a repair

not covered by anyone’s warranty. The

next concern became oil consumption and engine noise, at which time the vehicle

was out of the Kia of Milford stated 60 day 3,000 mile warranty was in fact

covered by Chevrolet manufacturer’s warranty.

The repair was completed by Chevrolet of Milford and the customer was

provided substitute transportation at no charge. The repair took longer than expected due to a

special tool that had to be ordered to complete the repair. The vehicle was

washed, filled with gas and returned to the customer on or about Tuesday,

January 7th. In addition Kia

of Milford authorized the replacement of the left front headlamp assembly and paid

an additional $433.76 as additional good will for any inconvenience the Scala’s

experienced. Plus a new battery was given as goodwill to the customer $149.00. For the record I am not the

owner of Chevrolet of Milford. I could

not comment or communicate with the Scala’s until the repairs were completed by

Chevrolet. Since then, we have also

offered to locate a Kia Sorento, comparably equipped as the Equinox the Scala’s

now own. Refunding money or repurchasing

the car at this point is not an option.

It is our belief that we have operated in good faith.

Sincerely,
