I came in to the dealership in February of to buy a car I saw online The car was advertised for $12, I called to see if they had the car and I was told they did I went to the dealership minutes later and was told they did not have the car When I said that was the reason I came they offered me the same car for $12,if I wanted the black model and $12,if I wanted a green modelI agreed to pay $12,for the black model When I went into the finance room the gentleman told me that I would be paying well over $16,for the car I let him know I just agreed to $12, He stated he added gap insurance and an additional warranty, but knew I was only being charged $12,for the car I declined the gap insurance and agreed to the additional warranty I thought we had a mutual understanding The gentleman printed the paperwork, I signed it and then we were on my way My partner has been looking for a new car so we contacted Kia again and texted back and f

I brought my car in while my warranty was active and I was very clearly with in my warrantyThe dealership told me that my warranty would not cover a specific part, didn't document it, and blew me offI spoke with someone there and they helped me temporarily fix my window sealSomeone hit my car, and the body shop my insurance told me to take it to messed with the seal pulling it out againTook it to another Kia Dealership and they told me I was miles past my warranty but the part should have been covered the first times I went in to the Broadway Kia DealershipThey lied to me in hopes of getting an extra $150, which is what they quoted me for a replacementAfter researching the part, it should have been covered the moment I brought it into the dealershipNow, my window doesn't close, and the dealership magically can't help me since it's past the warrantyI've been fighting this for months, and I'm so fed up

This letter is in response to complaint ID *** filed by *** *** *** is not a customer of Broadway KiaHer sister did indeed purchase a vehicle from usShe has a valid Oregon Driver's license, credit to qualify for a loan as well as income to support the paymentShortly after the
sale the customer did contact Broadway Kia to express her financial concernsWe complied and at her request unwound the car deal originally agreed uponWe also returned to her the vehicle she traded in to usAt this point our customer is very satisfied and was extremely thankfulThe desired settlement that *** *** wishes for her sister, our customer, has already been resolved

My name is *** ***, and I am an active duty member of the military stationed in Europe My home of record is in Oregon, and I contacted Kia of Portland through USAA to purchase a Kia Soul+ As I am overseas, I gave my father a special power of attorney which authorized him to purchase the vehicle in my name Kia of Portland indicated that we would be able to complete the transaction in this way and met with my father on multiple occasions to finalize details regarding price etc They also instructed me to take out an insurance policy on the vehicle in order to complete the sale, which I did
When it came time to complete the transaction, they told my father that they could not accept the power of attorney under Oregon law I believe this to be false They then said it was due to their "corporate relationship" with the state of Oregon, which I also believe to be false They have offered to mail documents to me in Spain, but have not yet done so

I purchased a vehicle from this dealershipThey lied to me during the sales process by saying the vehicle had certain features that the vehicle did notParticularly remote start and smart phone vehicle control capabilityAlso the vehicle had a scratch
When I downloaded the app and began testing the features I discovered it was all liesNo remote startNo vehicle control
They are dishonest and refused to fix the problem
The scratch has also yet to be repaired

I want to say first, THANK YOU!!! Terrin was outstandingThey were actually honest with meI am very impressed as I was also in and out in just a couple hoursFast service, very reasonable, great to work withThanks againIf you are looking for a new Kia, check with these guys first

I purchased a new kia soul on 9/I was called on 9/to sign new documents with a lower interest rate, however was told in order to secure the financing the "wrap warranty"(extended warranty) needed to be purchased($2700)when I gave my feedback to the sales manager through email, I got a call from the finance manager saying I must have misunderstood him, and that in fact it was not requiredThis was in fact not a miss understanding, it was a lie on his parthe then said he would submit the original contract and we would use those terms to finance the carwhen I recieved my statement from Kia, in fact I had been charged the $and now am stuck with a higher payment for the next four years due to this lying finance manager at the dealership (Brian)when I asked to speak to the general manager at the dealership, I had to explain the situation to five people all of whom could not helpfinaly the GM said he would email me a canelation form so that I can once again do the leg work for their mistakeI will never purchase another car, and will in fact make sure that everyone I know is aware to shop for a car elsewhere

What a horrible group of people, they kill you kindness, baffle you with *** all the while making you think that they are giving you a deal...Well let me tell you...I walked away with the bare bones kia soul for over $25,The car I looked at had a sticker price of over $26,so when the salesman offered it to me for $20,I thought ok cool! Ya NOT!!! The manager went to fill and wash the carThe car I took for a test drive had miles on itThe one I drove away had miles on it...the manager had the salesman follow me to the bank to get a cashiers checkAfter several hours of baffling me with BSThe person that does the financing talked me into buying a warranty (it comes with a warranty) a safety lite (also comes with the car) buying exterior/interior coating permaplate /scotchgaurdA day later I went back to declined the permaplate and ask for my money back, the finance guy told me..."NO! that's fine if you don't want it, but you can not get a refund"A couple days later I found the sticker price buried in the glove box hidden in the pouch with the owners manualWhich I was told by the salesman, the manager and the finance guy to not bother to even open itIf I have any questions just call or stop by...STICKER PRICE WAS $18,I went back a couple times trying to understand all the stuff that they charged me for the salesman got really sarcastic and short with me...Is there a -for the rating

I received a voicemail from the used car department stating there was a customer there that was looking for a car very similar to the car I drive and wanted me to come in right away as they offer cashWhen I called they would not reference a customer, rather they were trying to get me to come in and trade in my car for a new Kia
This is a classic unethical bait-and-switch sales method that prays on vulnerable peopleThis should be against the law and, at the very least, should be documented in a company review

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because I still feel that it was unethical to allow someone to drive a new car off the lot that had a poor credit rating and only SSDI income. There was no way she could make these payments. The lending bank subsequently sent a rejection letter because of my sister's low credit rating and no income
The car would have been returned without me getting involved but Broadway KIA led her to believe that she was able to purchase the car and only returned it after I intervened
Their customer is not completely satisfied because she still does not understand that Broadway Kia told her she was accepted for the car loan and then the bank refused it days later
Then end result was what I wanted but the process was not satisfactorySincerely,*** ***

We have reached out to our service manager who will be contacting the customer to resolve this problem.

This email is in response to complaint# [redacted]. I've researched this matter with our Sales Manager as well as our Finance Director. After looking over all of the financial documents (please see attached) I do not see where Broadway Kia did not disclose all figures, regarding financing, with Ms....

[redacted]. I have attached 3 documents that show a full disclosure of the vehicle service conctract as well as the cost. It clearly shows the price of the vehicle separate from the price of the vehicle service contract. The vehicle service contract could never "come with" your finanancing as it is it's own product. It also shows the vehicle service contract as an "optional" product therefore not needed in order to obtain financing. The contract term was written for 36 months as that was the highest term available.( see attached) The Vehicle Service Contract in question was recently cancelled and the refund amount has been prorated since the date of use. I verified the refund amount of $1269.44 was send to [redacted] on May 19,2015. The additional $1230.56 would not be refunded seeing as how you had use of the contract for the past 18 months should it have been needed. At this moment Broadway Kia does not see fault in the matter. At this time the desired settlement is unsupported. We do not feel that the there was questionable actions by any employee regarding the dealings with Ms. [redacted].
