We are a day music festivalWe have 100's of campsites and 1000's of people attendingMr [redacted] purchased a Standard w/ electricity camping site prior to the event and was assigned a siteHe paid $for the campsiteThe festival began on June 8th at noonMr [redacted] showed up on June 10th at 7:pmThe site that had been temporarily assigned to Mr [redacted] was reassigned on Friday afternoon with the assumption that Mr [redacted] was unable to attendWhen Mr [redacted] arrived, we explained that his initial assignment had been reassigned and offered him his pick of the remaining electrical sitesHe selected one and said that it was fineWhen it was observed that there was a slight slope to the site, Kick'n Up Kountry's head of maintenance helped him set up and even got him some extra blocking to account for the slopeAt this point, Mr [redacted] was still a satisfied customer and appreciative of our added assistanceLater he contacted us and asked if it was okay to move to an empty non-electrical site as he had a generatorWe told him that this would be fineThen, near the end of the festival, we got a call from him indicating his dissatisfaction and that he was going to take legal actionWe made multiple attempts to contact him and finally reached him about weeks after the festival had endedAfter hearing his account, we sent him a $gift certificate to more than cover the difference between electrical and non-electrical standard camping($165-$115=$50)He sent it back to usOur policy is that we do not provide refunds, and even so, we provided him with one and also helped him set up, which is not standard practiceHe chose to move to a non-electrical site which we also provided.Ardell [redacted] , CEO
