I am rejecting this response because:*** Closet made no attempt to amend their policyThey said that they cannot provide the consignee with a list of clothing being consigned until days after the consignee signs a consignment contractIn effect the consignee has no written verification of the number and type of clothes being consigned before signing a consignment contactThus, *** Closet is able to decide to "donate" clothing without the consignee's knowledge, because the consignee never receives a verified list of clothes that are being consigned with *** ClosetIf a consignee requested a list of clothing days after signing a consignment contract, the list may be incomplete, not listing all items which were originally accepted for consignmentIn which case *** Closet then claims to have "donated" the clothes which do not appear on the listIn effect *** Closet is able to sell clothing under the table without paying the consignee by neglecting to provide a written verification to the consignee of which clothes are being consigned; *** Closet can claim a piece of clothing was unacceptable and was "donated" to avoid having to pay the consignee for that item, or *** Closet can claim they have no knowledge of accepting an item for consignment, and the consignee is unable to prove to them that the item was accepted because *** Closet does not provide written verification of the items accepted for consignment prior to creating a consignment contract with the consignee.

This is in regards to a letter I received from the Revdex.comMy name is Barb P***, and I am the owner of Kids Klothes Inc, I have pulled all the information from the incident that happened on March 13,On December 1,*** *** *** came
into *** Closet to consign some itemsOur contract was explained to her and she agreed to the terms, (contract copy enclosed)On August 12,*** *** *** brought clothing to our store to consign, (copy enclosed) the sister of *** they both provided the same address, so one would assume that if *** brought clothing in a couple months previous that *** would be aware of how our consignment worksThat being said *** is the one who brought clothes in on and is the one who was picking up her unsold itemsI am very confused why the complaint would be from ***, as her contract ended on December 1st and she received her check and all items were accounted for? We do our best to keep as many items as we can, as we receive 50% of the selling price as wellIt is not to our benefit to donate clothing we deem sellableIt usually takes us up to days to get the items processed and into our systemConsignors are always welcome to come and pick up a itemized list as soon as the items are entered into our computerWe did have a manager on duty the day *** *** came to pick up her unsold items, (Andria T***)Andria printed her a list and she picked up all her unsold items, ** *** wanted my private information, as she wanted to talk to the ownerAndria explained to her that I was on vacation and would not be back until April 1stI would have been happy to talk to her upon my return and re-explain anything she didn't understand as soon as I returnedIn short *** and *** *** both received a check for all the items that were sold and both girls picked up anything that was not soldWe do provide a itemized list as soon as items are entered into the computer and we do have a manager to address any issues that may arise if I am unavailable.Best Regards,
