Despite being a family-owned business catering to the needs of young families, [redacted], Mike, displays [redacted], and inability to admit the store played any fault in the events leading to this complaint. A month and a half ago, I placed an order for two baby gates that I expected to need within the next month, and was promised they would be in within two weeks. In good faith, I purchased the one gate they had. I opened the box only to verify the contents. I was required to purchase other gates elsewhere, as the ordered gates only came in last week. Afterwards, I was refused a refund. My discussion with Mike left me feeling insulted, and I refuse to shop there again, despite having received excellent customer service from other employees over the past year in purchases totalling $1000. Note: the store has the strictest return policy of any known business: less than 3 weeks, and the package must be unopened.
