I am rejecting this response because:It is unfair for the business to pick and choose which policies are to be adhered toTheir handbook clearly states, on multiple pages, that parents will receive a day written notice of any changes to policies and proceduresIf we would have been notified earlier of the new policy, instead of the day of, then the issue would not have been brought upThis clearly shows how the business continues to miscommunicate and make the parent feel like they have done something wrongWe have never been asked to come in for a conference nor is the director, owner, or teacher ever present to speak to when dropping or picking the child upThe concerns that we brought up in the past were related to the health and safety of my child as well as the others at the daycareThe concerns were met with resistance which made it feel as though we were complainingAs a parent I should have the right to bring up concerns and not made to feel as though I am a potential problem to the businessIn fact, even after my daughter ran into the exposed wooden pole within the playground area, I worked with the owner on possible solutions (such as padding the poles), to ensure this would not happen to any other childI am asking for my annual registration fee back as the business could not adhere to their own policies outlined in the handbook.

Revdex.com Complaint ID: [redacted]To whom it may concern:On October 28th 2016 we received a letter from the Revdex.com in regards to a complaint made by a parent.  We have read the complaint and are aware of the concerns the parent has made.  On various occasions the director asked the parent to come in...

for a conference to address all concerns.  The parent stated that she could not make time to come and sit with the director on various occasions stating she was busy at work and couldn’t just pick up and attend a conference or meeting.  The parent expressed all concerns via phone, parents would pick the child up from childcare and not stop by the office to speak with the director or teacher.  As the parent stated we did finally get the parents to come in and sit down with the owner at the owners request and spoke about the concerns the parent had.  All concerns were addressed with teachers and the director, parent was unsatisfied with the outcome of how the concerns were addressed after meeting with the owners.  The parents had adequate time (two weeks) to find another child care center that would better fit their needs.  As stated in the parent hand book on p.12, “a child’s enrollment may be terminated if we feel like we cannot meet the Childs needs, we will do so after conferencing with the parents.  We will work with you to resolve the issue, give you ADEQUATE notice and suggestions for ways in which your child may get their needs met.” Parent is requesting the $100 non-refundable annual registration fee.  As stated in the parent handbook p.10, the tuition and annual registration fee is non-refundable.  Parent did not sign a contract with Kids are Angels Learning Center in which states the annual registration is a contract for a year.  The parent handbook and concern documentation will be attached.  Any questions or concerns feel free to contact me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted].
