I trusted the Revdex.com review of A+ and called Hibner Heating and Air, Inc. They sent a technician who was visibly physically handicapped. He explained that he was just out of the hospital with a back and neck operation and he wore a neck brace. I am not the type of person who would simply through this man out of my house. I proceeded to explain the problem. The condensing furnace, installed by Hibner several years ago, was leaking water and I showed him visible water damage on the ceiling one story below. He could not physically kneel or bend to examine the furnace and condensation pump, so he left my house and entered his van outside. He stayed in the van for over an hour. I went out to the van to ask what was going on, but he was on the phone and did not hold his conversation to talk to me. Finally, when he finished his business on the phone I asked if he was going to continue the job and he replied that a colleague was coming to assist. I waited another hour and a technician showed up from another business (not Hibner). After approximately 5 hours, the problem was repaired and the hose to the condensation pump was properly attached. No other repairs were needed to the furnace. My bill: Dispatch call $189.00 plus a furnace "overhaul", $475.00. You can decide if this is fair or reasonable. I call it crazy.
