My son was abruptly expelled (effective immediately, with no notice) on Friday Aug 24, after I notified the daycare director the previous day that my son was physically restrained to remain on a carpet which was witnessed by our Speech Therapist, an independent contractor who goes to the daycare for his therapy on the two days he attends daycare I had overpaid in advance for childcare services, as I had done many times before I contacted the daycare that Friday after they seized a notebook with written observations of behaviors that I needed to have for a child psychology appointment and to inquire about being owed a refundThe daycare initially said they provided me my refund (a personal check they had not cashed yet) and after explaining further that I overpaid for services, they provided a refund of dollars via certified mail with a detailed receipt This receipt did not seem correct to both my husband and I, and after looking through the receipt of payment the daycare
