Review: My daughter and I attended a seminar presented by this agency regarding talent representation for my daughter. I then provided them with a casting card, which contains personal information of my daughter including her social security number and photo. I also provided the agent with a check of $125. for my daughter's photos to be uploaded to their website once I provided the photos to their webmaster. Upon further consideration, we decided to not proceed with this agency or their website and never contacted their webmaster. I contacted the agent and informed her of our decision. On May 1, 2013, she responded that she would return my daughter's casting card by mail along with the $125. refund. June 6, 2013, I sent an email to [redacted] stating that I have not received the check or casting card. As of today, June 27, 2013, I have not received any response from my email and have still not received the refund and casting card.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund, as promised, of $125. and the return of my daughter's original casting card.

First of all, I want to put Into proper perspective our untimely, according to your standards, reply to your letter dated Friday, July 19, 2013, which, for the first time, brought this complaint to our attention. Please consider the following chronology in understanding why it was literally impossible for Kids International Agency, Inc. (KI) to have met your ten (10) day requirement in replying to the initial letter of complaint:

o Your letter, dated Friday, July 19, 2013, presumably was delivered to KI during the week of July 22,2013.

o On July 20,2013, KI was officially closed thru August 3, 2013, due to vacation of the owners,

o Your second letter to KI, dated Tuesday, July 30, 2013 was mailed to KI and presumably delivered to its mailbox sometime between July 31st and August 3, 2013.

o On Sunday, August 4, 2013, upon our return from vacation, mail was picked up by me, including both letters from Revdex.com of Metro Washington D.C. and Eastern Penn (Revdex.com).

In effect, KI became aware of complaint #ID [redacted] for the first time on Monday, August 5, 2013.

On Tuesday, August 6, 2013, I called and spoke with you personally and explained, in detail, the entire scenario as described In the above points. At the end of our conversation you assured me KI would be receiving another letter from the Revdex.com granting an additional ten days for KI to reply to complaint ID # [redacted]. As of this writing, we have not received that letter and are trusting that the Revdex.com will be reasonable In Its consideration of facts In this matter.

I prepared this comprehensive written account of relevant situations and circumstances responsible for the current state of affairs. Therefore, In our view, our inability to address this complaint, before now, is fully justified and thus should in no way, cause the Revdex.com to represent or portray our business In any way that reflects negatively or unfavorably on it.

This is a great industry and [redacted] should do well. No problem with the refund on the website since you never had the company upload her info.
