I have read ***'s lengthy complaintI will address the issues.*** starts off saying she requested a transmission range sensor be replaced "over the phone" on the Suzuki since it was replaced previously*** contacted Rosen Suzuki and was told by their parts person that it would have to
be special ordered and they had no time frame on availability due to none showing in U.SinventoryThis is not unusual since Suzuki America filed bankruptcy and no longer sells vehicles in the United StatesHe contacted all our aftermarket venders including AutoZone and was told the part was not availableI contacted AutoZone this morning and was also told the same.*** insisted that we check out the vehicle anyway*** told her that it would be a one hour diagnostic fee and she agreedShe signed the repair order indicating that she agreed to the chargesThe technician actually had well over an hour invested reading the codes, doing the factory diagnostic procedure and test driving the vehicleThere were (2) codes at that time stored PO Brake light switch malfunction and PO Transmission input malfunctionThere was no Oxygen sensor code stored at that timeWe have state of the art diagnostic equipment equal to new car dealersNot a little hand held like the parts stores.*** told *** the results and that we could not get the transmission to act up at that timeThat is why he mentioned could it be possible that her son bumped the shifter while driving, not an uncommon occurrence.*** insisted that the vehicle had a issue and *** told her that was probable but we could not source a Transmission Range sensor and the only recourse "may" be a transmission if one could be be found with the sensorHe never quoted any dollar amounts because he never checked availability to even see if one was available
