I want to fill you in on the history of this project. I have also included the email response to [redacted]'scomplaint.I was contacted about providing a quote for installing a septic system for a property sale that was dueto close in a week or two. This was in late April of this year. Everyone involved...

understood that thework would not be able to be done until the soils dried up and county officials would confinn dryness.(This typically happens early May. This spring however we didn't get to that point until mid-June, mostplaces.) Due to this timing problem the buyer and seller decided that the seller would pay for the septicsystem in full to acquire a lien waiver for the work. The Bank was good with this as well. I was onlyable to talk with the buyer briefly, to confinn that she was aware of the situation and had some generalknowledge of the mound system. At that time she was very understanding and very excited about theclosing. She seemed to not be very concerned about the details just wanted it to get done so they couldclose. I was apprehensive about taking the job, but wanted to help the closing. I assumed there wassome reason for the date to be very important, possibly other closing tied to this along with having tomove into or out of other residences. I was not aware of the details, just the urgency.Access to the site was also an issue. I talked with the neighbor about access through his yard and heseemed like it may be possible with compensation and guarantee of no umepairable damage to hisproperty. I told him I would contact him if I was awarded the contract. The closing occurred and shortly after I contacted [redacted] to meet at the site and discuss the details ofthe project even though it was still too wet to do the work. She \vas able to meet me that day. She had avery different attitude from the phone conversation. Not happy at all about location of mound, or thatthe yard would be tore up. She told me that the neighbor would not let any traffic across his property forsure. I don't remember the timing of the fence installation, before or after this meeting, but it was beforeI could do any work due 10 the wet spring. The fence was installed around the perimeter of the property. These are a whole new set of obstacles I would need to address before the job could get underway. Ididn't hear from her all summer, and was very busy with people needing their systems in. Very difficultyear to get work done due to the rain cycles. We just kept getting rain it seemed every week.. I hadother customers who waited for a few months for their systems as well. The work was done in time shortly after I contacted her in the fall. In order to get it done I had 10clear trees, remove and replace fencing, haul small loads of material into the site to preserve thedriveway. The only other option then the drive way would have been removal of many (5-6) large treesnear the road and it the path to the site, more fence removal. None of which she was willing to get done. The risk of some damage to the driveway was a much better option than losing multiple maturehardwoods.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: The company in question installed a mound system which was paid for in full by the previous owners. The contract for the work was signed for in May. Besides receiving the money and contract, I did not hear from the company again until July. At that time John talked about the plan to access the area for the mound via my neighbors property. They were denied access because there was a very high risk of damage to my neighbors septic system and he would not guaranty there would not be damage or repair it if there was. When I finally heard from them again in Late Septemember, the new plan was they would access the area through my paved drive way but using smaller equipment to avoid damage. The only attempt to avoid damage I could see was him laying plywood across my flag stone patio. He still used his full size dump truck (I did not witness the other equipment for the tank portion of the install) to move the sand in to the area with multiple trips. This resulted in crack and sink damage to my drive/parking slab, crushed flag stone in many areas, the fence put back incorrectly so it no longer opperates properly, as well as shreded trees that will now have to be professionally pruned due to height to eliminate the bare branches that were left behind.Desired Settlement: I reached out to him on the most concerning issues asking for resolution. It has been over two weeks now with no response or resolution. I would like the damaged items corrected.
