Kikino Silver Birch Resort

Some sites are better than others, beautiful and private, The beach is a nice addition to the lake for hot summer days, but is not safe for everyone alike! There is “Absolutely no pets allowed on the beach, docks, etc…” but nobody enforces anything. The amount of dogs on the beach, literally popping in sand and in the water is unbelievable, plus dogs running around freely, and so on. Also there’s the white peoples docking their boars and watercraft on the beach, not only putting everyone’s lives at risks, but also breaking boating regulations by doing so and driving fast and dangerously close to the swimmers… again, employees of the camp don’t care to enforce anything. Beware of poop (birds, dogs) on the beach, everywhere you step. Bring some wood if you have, is kind of expensive at the camp. Also there’s is no clean water or dumping options at the site for a longer stay, you only get water when you come in and dump when you leave, or else be prepared to slide everything back in, hook your trailer and do extra work for a 5 minutes trip to refill.

Since my employment with the Silver Birch Resort, this is the first complaint that I have encountered of this nature and will most definitely deal with any future instances in an expedient and professional manner; and will ensure that all the staff of the resort will also be informed of the appropriate manner in which to deal with our customers. I do appreciate that the person in this case is still a customer of our resort, and I will be personally apologizing to her and her family.

Thank you, I did receive an apology from the manager in regards to this. I also wrote a letter to the Metis band (they own the business), everything seems fine now. Thank you for your time.
