Kili, LLC

This is a matter between an employer and potential employee that does not involve a consumer complaint. Specifically, in this instance, Kili, LLC was seeking to hire Ms. [redacted] as a Kili employee to satisfy a contractual requirement that Kili has with the Federal Government. was successful, Ms. [redacted] would have been an employee of Kili, which would have included receiving her salary and benefits from Kili, but would have performed services pursuant to Kili's contract with the Federal Government. As a part of Kili's contractual requirement with the Federal Government, Kili had submitted Ms. [redacted]'s resume to the Federal Government for approval. Kili did not initially receive any negative feedback in regard to such resume. As such, Kili moved forward with Ms. [redacted] in the hiring process. However, shortly after speaking with Ms. [redacted] about Kili's desire to hire Ms. [redacted], Kili received notification from the Federal Government that Ms. [redacted]'s resume had been rejected. The employment contract between Kili and Ms. [redacted] is clear that such contract shall be terminated immediately if there was a rejection of Ms. [redacted]'s resume by the Federal Government. Other reasons for immediate contract termination included any failure by Ms. [redacted] to receive security or other clearance to perform services for the Federal Government. Unfortunately in this instance, Ms. [redacted]'s resume was rejected by the Federal Government. Immediately after receiving that notice, Kili's HR director, [redacted], attempted to telephone Ms. [redacted] to notify her of that decision. As that call was unsuccessful, Ms. [redacted] sent an email to Ms. [redacted] notifying her of the decision by the Federal Government and the termination of the employment agreement based on the contractual conditions contained in the employment agreement between Kili and Ms. [redacted] (summarized above). Ms. [redacted] has requested information regarding the basis of the rejection of her resume by the Federal Government. Kili has inquired with the Federal Government about such decision, but to date has unfortunately not received any feedback. If the Federal Government does provide any such feedback, Ms. [redacted] will be providing such information to Ms. [redacted].
