Our business issued a general advertising campaign via the United States Postal Service Every Door Direct, mailing a postcard to all residents of West Sacramento area based upon general zip code and USPS routes. The complainant was not specifically targeted by name or address and we had no information she was opposed of such advertising. On July 4th, the complainant contacted our business and requested she be removed from our mailing list. We do not use a mailing list service, however her address of [redacted] will be placed on a do-not-deliver status for any future mailing campaigns. It is my opinion her complaint is un-necessary for an issue which has already been resolved. The complainant made it very clear during her telephone call she is opposed to firearms and the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. She is entitled to her own opinion as well, however this business has not engaged in any form of illegal, unethical, or negligent action against the complainant. A general postcard advertisement which is a regular and common form of promoting a business or service should not meet the bar for a complaint of the Revdex.com. Thank you.
