Review: I cancelled a series of 2 appointments with this practice. 1 of the cancellation was due to a medical emergency. Prior to the next scheduled appointment, I came into the practice and explained that unfortunately I could not afford the dental services and to see if there was uninsured prices available for me. After reviewing the fee schedule with a rep at the practice I explained that it would be best for me (as a [redacted] at [redacted]) to get the services compelted at the [redacted] school of dentistry because the total service cost was **% less than what this practice was charging and I was paying out of pocket. The rep I saw in office went and spoke with the dentist who then suggested that I break up the procedures over an extended period of time to make the dental work more affordable. I explained that I could not do this as some of the dental work I needed to get done needed to be done in less than 90 days before I left to go out of the country. The representative was very nice and upon completion of my visit they provided me with a copy of my films and wished me luck. I returned back in the country and am going through more than 3 months of mail only to discovered threatening letter of collection for a 40.00 bill. When I inquired about the bill they stated this was for a no show on an appointment that was confirmed. I was bewildered by this, because this appointment should not have still been standing. It was abundantly clear that I would not be returning to this practice when I left. Because I'd previously broken appointments and had the fee's waived they are refusing to waive this fee and threatening collections actions. I believe this problem cannot be resolved by working with this office directly because they do not see me as a patient of theirs and because they do not believe its necessary to maintain a relationship with me they are not moved in trying to resolve this in my favor. My sole purpose in not using their practice was not because I did not want to become a patient there but because I do not have dental insurance and could not afford the bill, yet and still I received another bill.Desired Settlement: I would like this fee removed and a "0" balance reflected and accounted for.

The customer canceled the frist appointment with 1 hour notice, the next appointment was canceled and moved because the customer was ill. That appointment was moved and that appointment was missed as well. A message was left for the customer on the 5th that the 40 fee was removed and the balance was again 0
