I took a coat in to be cleaned, and it wasn't there were stains throughout the inside and out.I took my coat to be laundered at [redacted] who sent it off to Kim's in [redacted]. I came to pick up the coat and there were stains inside and out. I asked to speak to someone at Kim's. The guy I spoke with couldn't explain his inability to remove the stain except that I must've been wearing a cheap fabric that bled on it. I guarantee I wasn't wearing cheap clothes. He said he could use a stronger chemical on it but it might damage the fabric, but I was also asked to pay for a service that could damage the coat prior to it being sent back. Then he said it wasn't even worth him chancing it, so I was left paying $15 for a coat, laundered, that looked like it hadn't been touched.Desired SettlementMy $15 to be returned, having a claim against them because of their unprofessionalism.Business Response Contact Name and Title: Kim Dry CleanersContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]We Kim Cleaners explained to Ms. [redacted] that retrying would most likely leave her unsatisfied as she already was and instructed person at desk to just give coat as is without payment but when I later spoke to front desk lady she said Ms. [redacted] just paid $15 and walked out. I left it at that. I would be happy to refund her that $15. We Kim Cleaners pride ourselves on high quality in stain removal and when not possible try to explain and justify in detail the reasons why. I feel informing the customer on details gives information on why certain results can not be achieved. We unlike other cleaners frequently call customers prior to and after in certain cases the cituation to offer the customer a reassured feel that we try to our fullest. Please tell Ms. [redacted] that this was a mis communication with the person at the front desk and wouldn't try to purposely lose a customer over $15. I hope if she understands this she would continue business with us in the future. Consumer Response I told the gentleman I spoke with on the phone that I'd be willing to pay the $15 after they attempted to clean it again, but was told on the phone that wouldn't be acceptable, that I'd need to pay upfront for them to attempt cleaning it again. I spoke to him extensively. But I'll cut him the benefit of the doubt, maybe there was a miscommunication. But in that, the coat was so badly stained, and I've since had to take it elsewhere, where it was done right, I want my $15 payment returned. How will I get my $15 refunded? I'd like to see that acted upon.Final Business Response I feel a refund is very fair. Strange bc I replied days ago but I guess it didn't post. I already informed store clerk to do so.
