Hello,I
disagree with the statement the company wroteI spoke to several people via
social media and in person and multiple people mentioned that they wish they
had known I was taking my jacket to that location because they would have given
me another location that does professional work and have great customer service
to all people regardless of their age, sex, race, color, etc.I
did not say, “Any other person who had this problem, it would have been fixed.”
What I said was, "If I was someone else, I would not be treated like
this." I felt disrespected! I was not arguing but trying to talk to her to
come to some resolutionShe became irate and walked off and said she was
calling the policeI then began to get upset because of how I treatedShe
assumes that it was because of race....hmmmmmm.? However, what about age? I
felt like she was disrespectful because she was older than I was and thought
that I was a young person who she could "run" over.Three
months (in which I stated that the jacket was picked up and placed in a closet
until the day I called) should not be the issue yet, the issue is the name
spelled incorrectEveryone from the original company to this company to me
missed the mistakeThe company should have crossed checked with the paper work
in the first placeOn another note, from the psychological standpoint,
cognitive processes can effect spellingMost often, when we comprehend
something, it does not matter the arrangement of the words because we tend to
see it spelled in the correct way This
goes hand in hand with split-fovea roleThis is what I was saying to her not
what she wrote in the response.The
in house job was not professional in my opinionAs I stated before, the
threading was sparse and the areas that they took off showed a discoloration It is a matter of opinion and if I pay for a
service, I expect it to be of some qualityAgain, the in house job was not
quality as well as the stitching I might add (I saw other comments/reviews that
stated the same concern)I called back not yelling but talking to the employee
that I would be furthering this issue”Negative” comments is not what I would
call it, however, I refer to it as true comments written due to the outcome of
the business owner’s actionsFurthermore, there were other comments about the
behavior of the owner as well other issues.To
offer me 10% is a slap in the faceWe ALL have bills to pay and as a business
owner, you have to “bite the bullet” sometimes when there is an issueThat is
the pro and con of a businessCustomer satisfaction and customer service helps
to build a companyIf I were totally in the wrong, well, I would not be
“wasting” my time writing this letter. I
tried to be more than fair considering that each person be equally responsible
for this matter but the company seem to think that they have no foughtThey
are acting as if I am not trying to make them be responsible for the entire
cost (even though they should)Lastly, I know that if I ever need anything
else done or need to refer someone, it will not be at this establishment!Regards,*** ***
