I've lived in three different states in a matter of five years and this is the WORST power company to deal withI never once paid a bill late; however, when I moved they never closed out my account (that I have proof that I moved and no longer lived at the residence) and apparently continued to bill meWith no bills received at my new location through my forwarded mail service (which I received other bills through) I was unexpectedly sent to a collections agency with no warning what so ever months after I movedI proved to them, when I moved and that I hadn't lived at this location in months, but they were NOT willing to work with me one bit and insisted I owed them money from the months that I DID NOT even live in LubbockThe customer representatives I spoke with were rude and the supervisor I was working with would take days to return callsThey were disrespectful and I understand I'm young but like I said I NEVER PAID ONE LATE STATEMENT IN MY TWO YEARS LIVING THERE

I am a good customer. I pay every month and have for years. I made my payment online and selected to pay through my checking account which takes 1 to 2 business days longer than if you selected to pay with a card. I paid, or thought it was paid, on Monday, Tuesday I had no electricity! I called made another payment and was told I would have an 87.00 reconnect fee. I called "customer service" and spoke with Erica and a broken record aka a supervisor to see about the fee. I was told over and over "I apologize ma'am but we can not refund that fee." Never mind the face that I keep a good account and pay every month or the fact that I did in fact pay. I was warned years ago about this same situation when paying on line but I myself had never had any issues. So here I am with spoiled food and an 87.00 fee that should have never happened to begin with.
