Review: Car was towed and ticketed by Forest Hills PD. Not disputing tow or ticketing, but the process this company uses for storing vehicle, fees and services is unmitigated and company makes it extremely hard to retrieve your vehicle.

Public transportation takes a full day to manage to this location - they towed the vehicle 7 miles away so a cab is $20-$30 to reach the location, i'm injured so I can't drive my motorcycle, I am not being provided access to the ticket on my car (which will expire and be unavailable for arbitration) and they charge $25/day without a cap even on days they are closed and do not allow you to pick up a vehicle after 4pm.

I called on Friday evening to pick up my vehicle and was told to pick up Saturday morning at 9am and that the fee would be $136

I called Saturday morning to inform that I was on my way and was told that my vehicle would not be available until 9am Monday and it would be $160+

I am now on my way Tuesday after finding a friend with a car to take me there and the fee is going to be almost $200.

This is borderline scam grade as my car was towed without my consent from directly in front of my house, nobody came to the door to inform me of the tow, I have been without my vehicle for 5 days, and the fees are escalating rapidly despite my best efforts. I;ve asked for any help they can provide and they have refused. They also refused to return the vehicle to its original location depsite being a towing company (for an additional fee) and overall have seemingly employed against the wall tactics to increase the profit from the tow on my car. They also only accept cash so I am forced to find this money myself and nobody (friends or family is able to help remotely.) As an unforeseen expense, with no ability to schedule pay or settle, on top of the ticket, this is placing me in financial hardship for the month.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for the extreme measures and inconvenience I had to endure to retrieve my car. I want to only pay the $136 I was originally told it would cost to pick up my car on Friday as further daily charges were not shared with me when I called to inquire about my car and I was lied to about the hours I could pick my car up.

I want the cost of my cab to be covered by the business as well since they refused to work with me in any way and I was forced to pay additional money to make it to their business which is almost 8 miles away from where my vehicle was towed and I was forced to take a half day off work.

Review: I CONTACTED AAA ON 01/**/2016 TO A BATTERY JUMP, IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE ALTERNATOR, ( ACCORDING TO THE REPAIR PERSON.) THE COMPANY INFORMED ME THAT THEY ARE AUTORIZED TO SERVICE AAA CUSTOMERS WITH ANY REPAIR MATTERS. HAVING BEEN SATISFIED WITH THE OTHER REPAIR SHOPS OFFERED IN THE PAST, I ALLOWED THE COMPANY TO REPAIR THE ALTERNATOR. BECAUSE I DID NOT TRAVEL TO THE SHOP'S LOCATION, I ASKED THE DRIVER TO HAVE THE MANAGER TEXT ME AN INVOICE INDICATING THE REPAIR COST. I WAS TEXTED 2 BLANK INVOICE, I CALLED THE MANAGER OF THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM I ATTRIBUTED TO MY PHONE. THE MANAGER QUOTED ME $213.75 FOR EVERY THING, MINUS THE BATTERY. I DECLINED THE BATTERY, BECAUSE THE TOW GUY TESTED IT ON ARRIVAL AND IT TESTED OVER 12.6 VOLTAGE, HOWEVER DID WANT THE PAIR MADE. I ASKED HOW SOON WILL MY CAR BE READY, HE SAID " [redacted]". I SAID GREAT, THEY HAD MY PERMISSION TO START. I CALLED THE COMPANY AT 1:48PM. AFTER 6:30PM CAME AND WENT I CALLED THEM BACK TO FIND OUT THE STATUS OF THE REPAUR SINCE IT ONLY TOOK AN HOUR. THE MANAGER STATED THE CAR IS READY. FINALLY I GET THEIR AND WAS PROVIDED AN INVOICE THAT FAILED TO DESCRIBE WHAT TYPE OF ATERNATOR WAS PUT IN THE CAR AND WAS TOLD THE. " OLD ALTERNATOR" WAS SOMEWHERE. ON 01/**/2016, I CONTACTED THE MANAGER TO INFORMED HIM OF A MISSING PIECE NEAR MY STICK SHIFT HANDEL. I EVENT TEXTED HIM THE PICTURE. NO RESPONSE TODATE.Desired Settlement: I WANT MY BILL AJUSTED TO REFLECT ACUTAL WORK DONE ON MY CAR. THEY PADDED THE BILL AFTER GIVING ME A PRICE OVER THE PHONE. I ALSO WANT THEM TO RELACE THE PIECE THEY BROKE.
