My husband *** and I purchased a full bottom 5th wheel insulation wrap with garage and slide out wraps with an estimated delivery of 14 days, the order was placed September 30, 2019 with ***. When the initial delivery/installation was done by *** on October 25, 2019 (25 days later) the order was incorrect, they had made the bottom wrap only with no garage and no slide wraps. We were given an estimate of 7 days to have the order corrected and installed. In speaking with *** on November 5, 2019 (11 days later) I was told that she was unaware that the initial installation hadn't gone as planned or that there was any problem with the order, and that it would be another 7 days before the order could be corrected/installed properly. In our conversation I complained about the shifting timelines for completion of the order and the disorganization of the company. *** offered me half off the purchase price. I notified *** that we had paid the full amount of $5827.50 (meaning half the cost would be $2913.75 for an overpayment of $1443.75), she said she could either leave a cheque with *** at the 2nd install or she could etransfer the owing amount. On November 13, 2019 *** texted me that she would be installing the wraps herself on November 14, 2019. I replied that I had been misunderstood in what we had paid, that we had only paid the $4357.50 for the bottom wrap and garage, therefore it would change what our refund amount would be. On November 15, 2019 (10 days later for a total of 46 days to complete the order) *** completed the installation with the correct order but did not leave a cheque for the amount owed to us as a refund. I texted *** to arrange the refund of $1443.75, she replied by text that she would etransfer it and asked for the email to send it to. The etransfer was not completed. On December 2, 2019 after texting and leaving phone messages from November 23rd on I reached *** who informed me that *** had recently sold *** her half of the business and that our conversation must have been a miscommunication and that she was not prepared to honour ***'s discount offer as we had not paid for the slide wraps and that this could not be discussed further with *** as she was away for a few months.
