is that Handyman Connection never charges by the hour we price for the job and give all customers a up front quote for what we are willing to do the job forIt doesn't matter if the job took lees time than the homeowner thought because it is not priced that wayThis protects our homeowners because if a job takes longer than we expected, they are not charged any moreMr*** did have some scheduling issues with our original contractor so we sent two men out there to finish the job for him instead of just oneWhile we were there we did move some dirt for him to fill in some low spots around the property that we also did not charge forThere was a addition to his original contract for $that we also did not charge him for because the original contract did not go as expectedWe threw this extra work in to make up for the fact that we did not have to dig as far as expected in the first contractHis total original charge was supposed to be $including the additional work he requestedWe charged him $total which was the total of his original estimateAll of this being said he is requesting a refund of $because we did not bury as much footage as originally estimated and he is correct about thatWhat he is failing to report in his complaint is that we did not charge for the additional $worth of work we estimated for himPlus we did not charge him to move additional dirt to another area of the property for him that was also not on his original contractIn my opinion this should be a wash as we attempted to do extra things for him at no charge due to the fact that we did not have to bury as many feet of drainage as originally expectedWe are willing to negotiate with him in the spirit of good customer service, but feel his request is excessiveWe would be willing to offer him a $refund to help this issue but feel the complaint is not accurate and leaves out the fact that we did try to help him out by doing a extra job for freeAs always when I am in the office I am more than willing to discuss this issue with him if he wants to call me at my office.Sincerely,Craig A***
