Review: I went to this Nail Salon on Monday, September [redacted]. The custommer service was horrific. The massage chairs are old and do not work well. In addition, the [redacted] asked while I was getting my spa pedicure asked if I am paying by credit card or cash, I said by credit card. When I went to pay, the [redacted] said the credit card machine was not working, this was not mentioned before nor was this told to anyone else that I heard. The [redacted] suggested I go "next door" to store's ATM machine. I said I would go to the CVS directly across the street to get cash. When I got back to pay cash, it was clear that the [redacted] and followed me. I paid and left the Salon. When I got to my car, the [redacted] was there asking if I had paid. I asked her to leave me alone and told that if they were concerned about the cash, she should not have lied about the credit card machine not working. I told her that they are prejudiced and I want to be left alone. This Nail Salon, should not be in business if they are not going to be courteous to customers. They are rude and should be investigated.Desired Settlement: Business practices of this small business should be investigated, I was suspicious if they have a scam going with the store next door in regards to the ATM Machine. She was insisting that I should go "next door" that's why I went across the street to the CVS to get cash. The experience was very unpleasant and I would not want anyone else to experience this. Kim's Salon should be investigated.

The business has responded; please read below:

We at Kim's Nail Salon are very sorry the customer had a bad experience that day. The credit card machine had some problems that day which was fixed by unplugging and plugging in the connection cable. We were unaware that the credit card machine wasn't working until it was time to collect the payment. We recommended using the ATM next door since it was close but are in no way affiliated with that ATM whatsoever.

Sincerely,

Review: I was getting a pedicure on April 26, 2013 and when the woman started using the loofah she was using it on the side of my right foot and she did it so long and hard I started to bleed. She told me that my skin was thin so she got up cleaned it off and put a bandaid on it. After the pedicure was finished I went home and got to really look at my foot and saw that it was a hole. She took off several layers of skin. It was really sore for days and its been over a month and it is still not healed all the way it has a nasty scab on it. I have pictures of the different healing stages on my phone. I also showed the doctor that I work for and he told me it was a burn. That when they were using that loofah they actually burned my skin. Now on to my other problem. My nail polish is coming off now and I noticed something on my Left big toe. It white and looks like a fungus. I took a picture of it. Other people are telling me that's what it is and since I have never had such problems I feel as though I got it from the salon because they did not properly clean there tools. I am really concerned about this because I am in a wedding in Aug and I have to wear open toed shoes.Desired Settlement: I did not pay for the pedicure because of the cut which is fine with me I just wish it would heal all the way. It does not look very nice. I would also like to add that my mother had gotten me gift card for there which I did not use because of the issues so if that could be refunded because I will not go there again for anything. As far as my toe and the nail fungus I would like to see a podiatrist and have that paid for also I would like whatever treatment that I need paid for such medication
