Kim's Nail Spa

I brought a furnace motor in to find out if it was good, and if not what was wrong with it. They said it would be checked out the next day and it was. As I suspected, the bearings were bad. It was cheaper to buy a new motor than replace the bearings. They got a new motor for me and transferred external parts from the old motor to the new one and had it ready to go mid day. I am very happy with the service I received and will go back for any other motor problems.

Review: I went to Kim's Nail Spa to have silk wrapped nails that they put on me removed because I did not want them anymore. After explaining three times to a male employee that I didn't want them,I was forced to ask if removal was "allowed" because he was clearly upset that I did not want them filled and they were losing 23 dollars.He then sat me down and began filing.Soon after the woman who seems to be the manager came over and began angrily speaking to him in another language.He then switched places with a woman who roughly began manhandling my fingers.Instead of letting the nails soak off she instead began prying them off and it was very painful.Additionally,she and the male employee continuously asked me,around 7 times, if I wanted a manicure to pressure me into spending more than the 5 dollars for the nail removal.I repeatedly told them "No" and asked if they would be buffing and filing my nails to look normal after the nails were removed.They angrily told me "Yes". However,this was not the case.After 10 minutes the manager came to finish the painful job on my nails.She continued prying,roughly filing,and barely buffing my nails.In the end my nails looked horrendous with gauge marks and tons of glue still leftover.The manager then began to yell at me saying"GO!YOU'RE DONE,YOU DON'T WANT ANYMORE SERVICE!NO MANICURE,YOU GO!"I was in complete shock and explained I would never go back there.I then went to the register where the manager proceeded to charge me 10 dollars despite my pointing to the board displaying it was only 5 dollars.She claimed I was wrong and that was the price.Clearly it was the last attempt to make more money off of me.They were not only rude and rough but they took advantage of me.After leaving there I went to another salon and they were shocked to see the condition of my nails.I will never go back to Kim's Nail Spa as they caused me a great deal of pain and no customer should ever have to go through what I did.Desired Settlement: I want my entire ten dollars back for the horrifying and painful experience.
