We reached out to the customer before this complaint was made and offered to meet with a third party mediator present to resolve this...

disagreement. Hours before the meeting was to take place, the customer cancelled the meeting and opted instead to make this complaint. Although we firmly disagree with the customer's complaints, we agreed to their terms and closed the account in effort to end the dispute. You can find our response to the customer's claims below.
"Inflated Pricing"
When estimating damages to a customer's property, insurance companies must pay to replace or repair what had been damaged with an "apples for apples" approach. This means they will only pay to replace what was previously installed on the customer's home.
The customer previously had 3-tab 25 year composition shingles on their roof. The insurance company was only liable to re-roof their property with 3-tab 25 year composition shingles. The customer asked us to upgrade their roof to a Class 4 Impact Resistant Shingle. This is why the estimate we sent to the insurance company and the invoice we sent to the customer differed. We cannot include upgrades on estimates sent to insurance companies because they will not and are not liable to pay for them.
This is not "inflated pricing". The customer received a higher grade shingle on their home than was previously installed, and the invoice we sent to the customer reflected this upgrade.
Overhead and Profit:
O & P covers a General Contractor's time and expenses and is calculated as a percentage of the total cost of a job. The customer's claim that O&P is only paid in Oklahoma in cases of a disaster situation is simply not true. We know this because we have been paid O&P on many other hail damage claims and can provide documentation proving this. Also, we have contacted the Oklahoma Insurance Department and they have confirmed that the customer's claim is false and no such statute exists stating that O&P is owed only in disaster situations.
Painting on Door:
We were only alerted to the customer's discontent of the paint job on their door months later when they came by unannounced to our office. We will gladly send someone out to apply another coat and would have sent someone out sooner if we had been notified.
Again, we agreed to the customer's terms to end this dispute. The response to their claims listed above are only an effort to provide the Revdex.com and possible future customer's of our side.
