The fact is that I took the hearing aids back for a refund and was told by Mary that I should keep them and her boss knew all about the situationAfter receiving a check from my insurance company for $2,not $6409.95, I contacted my insurance company and they said I would not get an additional amountI took the hearing aids back to Mary and she kept the hearing aids and said I would get my refund shortlyI provided evidence through emails of this conversationAll I wanted is my refund, that is why I contacted Revdex.comIf this is not resolved by 2-26-2018, I will retain a lawyer and go for a maximum amount allowed by the courtI have been more than patient in this matter and it’s time to start ramping up the processI appreciate your response [redacted] ***

I took the hearing aids back to Mary and she kept the hearing aids and said I would get my refund shortly. I provided evidence through emails of this conversation. Thank you for forwarding [redacted]'s concerns. I am familiar with this case. When [redacted] complained that she did not hear as well as she would like with her hearing aids, we did offer her an upgrade to technology (at a considerable discount) that did not exist when she purchased...

her hearing aids in 2013. We did not tell her that she should not have been fit with the hearing aids that she has. This was a correct fitting of our budget line of hearing aids. There were then, and are now, more advanced hearing aids than the [redacted] aids that she purchased.I believe that this patient has proper hearing aids for her hearing loss. However, the programming of any hearing aids is crucial to the patient's success with them. I would like to have some testing of the hearing aids done to make sure that they meet the objective target for amplification properties. Once we see if they are on target we will know if the problems are in the programming (which we can correct right away) or if they are in the type of hearing aid selected. All she would need to do is to come in for a half-hour appointment. The fitting process takes only a few minutes. There is no charge for this service.We will be in touch with [redacted] to set an appointment.Thank you again,Scott B[redacted]

Thank you for forwarding this client's concerns.  We have been working on this issue for some time. [redacted] is correct. He purchased from us in September of 2017. His insurance company promised him that they would reimburse him for the hearing aids. We filed all of the paperwork for him and...

as I understand it, they paid him directly, but they did not reimburse him in full. We filed an appeal to the insurance company for him, but they denied the appeal. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee what an insurance company promises their customers. [redacted]'s new hearing aids are appropriate for him and he will hear well with them. We are willing to work with him to resolve the financial issues if possible. Thank you, Scott B[redacted]
