I was dropped at Alvarado Hospital 3 hrs after a knee replacement and ripped the knee open and tore my co lateral ligament. The mighty Queen said I had a great case and would back me all the way to court. Well, it didn't really happen that way, first he handed me off to another attorney that supposedly specialized in those type of cases. Then we go to mediation and he graces us with his appearance, still saying how positive he was about the case. I had already had 4 surgeries and was going in for the co lateral reconstruction in a few weeks, I tried to stress this point to my attorney and The Queen but after a consultation with the retired judge overseeing the mediation, they came back and told me I didn't have a chance against a jury. Six months or so later, the other side wants to go back to mediation. I had my reconstructive surgery and was still going through PT and didn't know if I could go back to work or not yet ( I was a General Contractor ). King had told my attorney that he wasn't going to back me anymore so when we got to mediation the second time, I had no choice but to take the pitiful settlement, which most went to him and my attorney. I would not walk away from this hack of a lawyer, I'd run.
