I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

Jewelers letter, when he took the chain from me he went to his jewelry repair station and turned his back to me so therefore I could not see what he was doing When he returned the chain to me, it was handed back across the counter inside of a small black jewelers bag, and my mistake, I assumed it was the proper chain, and since he had other customers, I left with the bagWhen I realized at home that it was not the right chain, I contacted the store and was told that he was gone for two days and that is why I waited two days to go back in.They never offered to refund the money to me for the pearls as they said in the letter, and that was not the issue anyway, I wanted my deceased husband's gold chain back and still do He switched chains on me.Also I never used any profanity in the store other than calling him a thief, which I still stand by that opinion today There were other people in the store and the only response I got was I needed to leave the store It was repeated to me several times to leave the store, which I had no choice in doing so Now, as I think about it, I should have called the police and made a report, which I may still do Yes, I did have the charges on my credit card reversed until I get a solution to this issue.In the meantime, I have found a picture of my husband wearing the chain in question The chain "***" gave me wouldn't even fit around my deceased husband's neck, since he was a big man, over pounds.Also, the receipt that he sent a copy of is not the same receipt that was given to me in the store Mine is an actual printed receipt whereas the one he enclosed is handwritten.I don't know what else to do except file a police report I just want the chain returned to me

We have made every attempt to make this right with her. Everything that belonged to the customer has been delivered, returned, or refunded. At this point the customer has in her possession:1. The pearl pendants we manufactured for her.2. A full credit card refund (issued by the credit card company, despite the fact that both a cash refund and credit card reversal was offered).  3. The chain she brought in to have the pendants fit to, which was only left with us for a few minutes while the customer waited in the store.   We are very sorry that the customer cannot locate what is clearly a very sentimental chain. It is extremely disappointing that after 30 years of serving this customer without issue or complaint that this misunderstanding has occurred.
